Looking to take a relaxing getaway in the Olympic Peninsula Look no further than this charming Port Ludlow cabin! A quiet natural setting away from city stress, amazing views, and easy access to a nearby beach and several of Washington's best small towns make this an easy choice for your next vacation.
Just four miles north of the quiet town of Port Ludlow and only 14 miles from popular Port Townsend, your new home away from home is perfect for peaceful getaways, with a shared neighborhood beach just a short walk away and a lovely waterfront view from the wide, spacious deck. Stretch out, lie down in the hammock, and enjoy the crashing waves and the woodlands surrounding you.
Beautiful wood paneling, matching simple furnishings, and unique decorative touches like unique ceramic fish, tasteful statues and paintings, and plenty of books on the bookshelf all come together to give this home a relaxing, rustic atmosphere. When it's chilly out, warm up by the wood stove.
Marvel at the seaside views of the deck before stepping back inside and taking it easy in the living room. Take a seat on the cushy rocking chairs or the sofa by the windows and relax. This home is a great opportunity to unplug, but you don't have to give up on top-notch entertainment - this home features a TV with a DVD player!
Prepare and store simple meals in the fully-equipped kitchen with beautiful wooden cabinets. When it's time for dinner, sit down at the table near the windows, or head to one of the outdoor tables and dine alfresco on the deck while enjoying the ocean air. The gas grill is great for adding charred favorites to the menu.
Please note that access to the loft is via ladder and can be tricky. Meanwhile, the shower in the home's bath will keep everyone nice and clean before they head out to explore the Washington Peninsula!
It's tempting to stay at home, with a pickleball court, a neighborhood beach, and plenty of beautiful nature to admire, but you'd be missing out on the many nearby Olympic Peninsula sights and sounds! In addition to Port Ludlow's charming shops and restaurants four miles to the south, you're within 14 miles of Victorian seaport Port Townsend, as well as Port Hadlock and Marrowstone Island. If you'd like to enjoy the small-town sights and small lakes of Whidbey Island, it's just a 42-mile drive - and scenic ferry ride - from your door!

This location was perfect for what we needed. It was very close by to our family reunion.
There was Zero help from anyone. The toilet broke on our first day(monday)still wasn't working on Wednesday. We called in to the managers.Nothing but promises.SO we had to run into town whenever we had to go.(or out in the woods). The water system is not legal. I wouldn't even take a shower in it.The ice trays were froxen brown ice.The owners comments say If you don't like it go into town and buy water. It's Mid May and the lawns have yet to be mowed. There is NO access to the beach because the neighbor closed the trail. For the fire place the owners have a couple signs Only 5 pieces of wood per stay.So for a 3 night stay you only get 2 pieces a night. That won't even get the chill out. VERY DISAPPOINTED
Perfectly acceptable stay. Note that there is a path to a beach that you are not allowed to enter. Bring your own firewood. Owner(s) insist you take off your shoes.
This is the perfect house for us. Wonderful view and solitude, comfortable space for us to read and cook.
Serene log cabin with the most amazing view. We had a very comfortable stay and loved every minute. One thing that guests should know that there is NO beach access from the house since the pathway (last few stairs) belongs to the neighbors and without trespassing there is no way down to the beach. That was a great bummer. Otherwise wonderful place
The view is 5+ Stars. The cabin is a 2 at best. Had to wash every dish before use. The shower is a trickle of water, cabin needs serious maintenance. The deck steps are unsafe, very wobbly. Kitchen sink sprayer is broken. Dishes need upgrade some were un-useable. Patio furniture is splintered and old. We would not even sit on the couch, highly suggest leather or something that can be cleaned. It looks like it is from 1970 and smells that way too. TV is small, missing remote, and the sound is horrible. Agreed, you do not want to watch a bunch of TV with that view but on a rainy day/evening it would have been nice to have somewhere to sit, relax, and watch a movie. Bed is comfortable but it is a double not a queen and barely fits two adults. Recommend a nice king size bed. Half of the windows do not open to enjoy the cool breeze. The fact that this is a no shoe house is laughable as I would never walk bare foot in this cabin. The area is beautiful but the cabin is in need of some maintenance and updating. If you are a germaphobe like me this is not the rental for you.
Overall I would stay again. View was beautiful. Cabin rustic and very cute. Things were a bit dusty and serving utensils still had dried food on them. Back deck was not clean at all. Main compliant was when power went out we had two days left with no power back on before we left. We had no electricity, we could not cook or wash or use toilets. There was no power and roads were blocked due to downed lines so no way to get to nearest town for water or supplies. I know weather can not be controlled but Vacasa did not offer another place to stay or give a refund. We did see on other reviews where those options were extended.
If you are looking for a rustic north woods cabin this is it. If you want to get away from the barrage of negative tv news and the constant deluge of the internet and social media, then book this property. There is no tv or internet available, though our cell phone connection with AT & T worked just fine. It is peaceful, quiet and scenic. A great place to disconnect. Oh, and don’t forget to bring your own bottled water.
Best little get-away I have ever gone too! Spectacular view especially at sunrise! Nice and cozy interior! Love this place - definitely coming back for a third time!
Large deck with great views
Very cozy cabin with a nice view. Very quiet.
Perfect view, quiet, comfortable. Water is not great but not bad either. Lots of corners to relax in. Pickle ball was fun. Wish we could access the closer beach. A waiver maybe?
