Great cabin, had so much fun! Definitely listen and take into consideration if you don’t have four wheel drive then to get snow chains if recommended. We got tons of son but the kids had a blast! Highly recommend

This was our second time staying here, and we love it just as much as the first. The views are absolutely breathtaking and truly live up to the name. The cabin is comfortable, well cared for, and the perfect place to relax. We will definitely be back again!

The house was exactly as pictured, and the owner was extremely prompt and helpful with communication. The only challenge we experienced was keeping the house warm during the snowstorm. Also, be aware that you’ll need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle—the road conditions were very rough and made getting in and out difficult. It took us nine minutes to go just one mile, but crews were actively working on repairs as we were leaving. We absolutely loved the views, and it was our first time renting a cabin with such large windows. However, we realized that a cabin with big windows isn’t the best fit for us—the glare and brightness from the sun were a bit too strong. I would recommend this cabin!!

The views are worth the stay alone, but the property and cabin were even better than the listing. My boyfriend and I loved this stay, and we will definitely book again if in the area. Very short drive to see wild elk. The hot tub at night with the view of the valley and sitting by the fire are memories we will cherish for a long time.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and very clean. The owners were extremely nice and any time I had a question they answered within minutes. And what a view!!!! We sat in the hot tub and watched for shooting starts at night, and woke up early to watch the sunrise. The location is sooo peaceful and quiet. I felt like we were the only people on the planet. From the deck you feel like you can see forever.

Excellent stay! House was exactly as pictured and so cozy! It rained a few days while we were there and it was just as fun hanging at the cabin! Everything was clean and organized. 4 wheel drive was 100% necessary which we knew ahead of time so that was no problem at all. House was stocked with everything we needed but stores were also near by to pick up anything! If you’re looking for a true mountain cabin this one is for you! :)

The road to the cabin is as described. The cabin has a nice view but that’s about it. The furniture is dated, the sofa smells like dog and there are fleas on it. The owner has a WiFi thermostat and gas it set to go to 55 degrees at 3:15 A.M. The bedroom window doesn’t close completely so the master bedroom is cold. There is no trash pick up so you have to take the trash 20 minutes away or be charger $35 for the first kitchen sized bag then $5 for additional bags. We checked out on Sunday and the dump is closed on Sunday. There are multiple other issues but the biggest issue is the property management company is a nightmare to deal with. They will keep your deposit for old damage and blame you for not checking the cabin thoroughly at check in.

The cabin lived up to its name. The view is gorgeous! Cozy cabin with all of home conveniences. Upgraded GE appliances and lots of fluffy bath towels Very quiet and peaceful. Host was readily available and quick to answer any questions we had. The road leading to the cabin was bumpy and very rough. Would not recommend driving at night. All in all 10 out of 10

My wife and i stayed here this past weekend and man what a view. Simply beautiful at all times of the day. The house is definitely on the side of a mountain so 4wd is a must. And there are 2 ways to get up there i recommend the 2nd as it is pretty much a straight shot. It is still a little rutted from the hurricane a month ago. Communication with the owner was extremely easy and kept me up to date on the area status after the hurricane. The house was really clean other than some dog hair and finger smudges on the glass. Be sure to bring everything you need to cook with as it is a bare kitchen other than pans pots and plates. It was a wonderful stay and would highly recommend if you are looking a private scenic memorable stay in maggie valley.

Believe the description regarding the drive/road up to the cabin. We had a 4WD and it was a kidney buster. Overall the cabin is clean and as described. I highly recommend that you take your own towels and wash cloths. The few that were provided were a bit threadbare.

We have been staying in the Smokies for many years and this is the best view we have ever had! The cabin is very nice and comfortable. It was spotless clean and well maintained. The property management were very friendly and addressed our every need quickly and promptly. The road getting to the cabin is exactly as advertised, what an adventure and a memory we will never forget. It was a great week!

Had a great time. Beautiful property with an incredible view. Our only complaint was both bathrooms were almost out of toilet paper with only 1 backup roll.
