Animal Crossing Retreat - Luxurious Elegant Cabin, Sleeps 10

The Animal Crossing is a impeccable custom and upscale chalet that is within 5 minutes to the PMC village and country club with a beautiful view of the northern mountains. It offers easy access year-round.

Animal Crossing features 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and 5 beds that are meticulously upgraded with sleek finishes and design. You enter into a bright open floor plan with soaring pine wood ceilings and a custom brick fireplace. There is forced air, central heating, and AC.
r>The Animal Crossing Chalet is truly meticulous inside and out and is centrally located in Pine Mountain Club which offers golf, tennis, an Olympic size pool built in 2021, hiking, fishing, bicycling, etc.

First Floor:
Enter the threshold into a bright, open floor plan; with the living room, dining room and soaring, pine wood ceilings. That is where you find the first custom brick fireplace. This is a beautiful area to hang out with family and friend or watch some TV by the fire. The master bedroom with a California King Size bed and full bathroom are on the main level. All three full bathrooms boast of beautiful, ornately designed tile with rain showers and tubs. In the gourmet kitchen you find stunning white quartz counter tops, gleaming stainless-steel appliances, and beautiful dishes, pots and pans, and basic oils and spices to get you started. The eating area is nicely decorated with antiques and beautiful collectible decorations.

On the other side of the chalet, you will find another private area that is perfect for working/studying from home as it features a desk and a settee for enjoying the 65 TV over an electronic fireplace. Following that room, at the furthest end of the house, you find a big bonus room. The bonus room functions as a theater room with a 75 TV that is loaded with apps over the second electronic fireplace in front of a reclining sofa. This room also has a queen murphy bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress that is ready-made for guest or can be lifted for extra space. We also provide a table to enjoy our provided games and puzzles. This bonus room as its own private full bath.

The living room has a queen sized sofa bed for any additional family and friends.

Second Floor:
The views from the second floor are gorgeous as we have large windows overlooking the northern mountains. It starts with a beautiful loft that is furnished with another desk for a working station and a full-size queen futon bed.

The third bedroom and bathroom are also on the second floor. This room has a queen size platform bed with a hybrid memory foam mattress. Guests in this room will enjoy their own private full bathroom.

Outside:
You will enjoy the luxury and comfort of this elegant retreat. The grounds are super peaceful and accommodates outdoor living and dining with a spacious, well-furnished decks, several BBQ grills, and gazebo with a closed fire fit.

The front deck offers sofa seating, a table with 6 chairs and a BBQ grill. Here you will have a great view of mountains and our spacious and lush gardens featuring a faux well and a water fountain.

On the side patio there is a second grill with a granite table.

The back of the chalet has a big veranda with covered furniture that you can use (just make sure you cover afterwards to keep it clean). It features a third grill and heaters.

The gardens feature lots of fruit trees: apple, pear, plum, and cherry.

In addition to these areas described there are sprinkles of additional seating throughout the gardens.

Pine Mountain Club has a general store which is a basic grocery store, and also has some restaurants, and a gas station/auto shop. Also has some gift shops, couple of bars, etc. A larger market is 20 mins away in Frazier Park, as is the closest pharmacy (open on weekdays) and a hardware store. When coming to PMC understand that it is fairly remote and you should come prepared with Important things that you may not be able to get easily!

WINTER ALERT! In the winter months it snows here. Roads may get icy, even though the roads are well cared for by the town. There may be times where chains are needed if you do not have an all wheel drive vehicle. Check weather conditions in advance.

Power Outages

Power outages occur rarely but it has been known to occur since Kern County has been upgrading the electrical poles/lines. Please make sure you are prepared if you experience a slight power outage. We have flashlights if this should occur.

Propane Tank for BBQ Grill
We are not responsible if the BBQ Grill propane tank is empty so please feel free to bring an extra one in case the propane fuel is low. Refills also available in the PMC General Store. Please also cleanup after each use of the grill. Others will appreciate it.

Trash Transfer Station - The PMCPOA Transfer Site is the place where members and their guests take garbage and recyclables. It is open seven days a week. - Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily Open until 7 p.m. on Thursdays during the summer/warm months.
