Summary:

Nestled at the foot of Lookout Mountain, Ani Cabin offers a private hot tub, furnished back deck, covered front deck with a charcoal grill, and a shared fire pit. It accommodates 6 guests and has a main bedroom, a sleeping loft, and built-in bunk beds.

The Space:

Wauhatchie Woodlands is a family-owned collection of quaint, tiny-home, rustic-comfort log cabins on a 14-acre wooded property surrounded by National Park land. This natural setting is nested less than a mile from the city with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area.

Named after Frank & Nicole's daughter, Ani Cabin is equipped with everything you could ever need to make the most of your time in Chattanooga.

Ani is one of our bunk bed cabins, perfect for families. During your stay, you’ll enjoy a private hot tub, furnished back deck, fire pit, covered front porch with charcoal grill, and an incredibly memorable, charming space surrounded by nature. Ani can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests between the main bedroom, built in bunk beds, and sleeping loft. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, smart TV, and more.

Starting from the back, you’ll find the fully furnished deck, surrounded by decades-old trees, there awaits a space of pure relaxation, your private hot tub, with easy access to the main bedroom. Just beside the cabin is the shared fire pit and pavilion, perfect for fireside chats and evening s'mores. Firewood can be purchased on-property.

Inside, the main bedroom hosts a queen bed, closets for hanging clothes, lots of drawer storage, and a Smart TV. Just outside the bedroom are the built in bunk beds across from the full bathroom with bathtub.

A step further we enter the kitchen, fully stocked for cooking/dining with an electric range, microwave, stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and all the dishes you need to whip up a vacation feast. The living room and kitchen feature an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings with the main TV across from the sofa.

Up the staircase is the sleeping loft equipped with two twin beds. Kids will love having their own space. For grownups, clearance in the loft is low, just 4' - it’s perfect for sleeping, just watch your head when you get up.

The cabin’s covered front porch with dining set is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee, or grilling out on your dedicated charcoal grill (charcoal not include).

Please note that active train tracks that border the property to the north and light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Each cabin has been equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize any disturbance. If you are concerned about the potential for noise, please contact our guest services team directly.

We are pleased to allow dogs at Ani Cabin, under specific terms and conditions. See our house rules/notes section for more information.

Pests:

We take great care to ensure our properties are free from pests. Our properties are regularly treated by professional pest control and our staff takes preventative measures to keep pests out.

Surveillance Cameras:

Please note that for your safety, cabins may have a camera located on the front porch, facing outwards monitoring activity in front of the cabin (including driveway and roads).

We have stayed here a few times and every single stay we enjoy ourselves! The cabins are right across from rock city and ruby falls. There is a Publix right down the street and the hot tubs or the one cabin with a pool are always kept extremely clean! You can also purchase firewood for 5 bucks My tv stopped working and the maintenance crew that stopped by were the nicest people and were able to fix it immediately! This place is an absolute must when coming to Chattanooga!

Our review is just based on a one night stay in ANI cabin. Everything really was excellent and wish we had more time to explore and enjoy it. The inside was pretty immaculate, only “complaint” is that we had to sweep and knock down a lot of cobwebs and dust on the outside. But we would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to others. Really great location!

We had a great time. Only wish we could have stayed longer. It was amazing and not much more than a nice hotel room. Everything we needed was either there or way to get.

The cabin was gorgeous, super clean, and really peaceful. The location is fantastic since it’s near all the main attractions, and even though you’re nestled among the trees, the big city it’s just a few minutes away with amazing restaurants. Thanks everyone!!

Everything was nice and tidy. What made the stay terrible was the smell. The entire cabin smelled like mildew like it had been left open to water and humidity for months. It trigger my asthma and smelled awful.

This place was adorable. So many little details that made it just perfect. The train runs close by, but it blends into the background aside from a few whistles in the evening. There are little hiking trails and the hot tubs are fantastic.. We would stay again in a great near

Such a cute little cabin! We stayed one night while passing through to the mountains. We visited Ruby Falls and ate at the cutest Diner called Bea's! The property was as described and was super cute! Check in was super easy. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area! My little boy age 11 loved the loft!

The cabin was extremely clean and amenities were great. We stayed for the night on our drive down to Florida from Chicago so the hot tub was an amazing addition to our stay. Highly recommend and wish we stayed longer!

This place was great. Close to all the Chattanooga attractions. The cabin had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The only issue that I could see was they did not dust very well in certain areas.

Very cute and cozy cabin in the woods. The hot tub was an extra bonus. We could hear the trains but it did not bother us. However we were closer to the entrance away from the tracks. The entire property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were very friendly. We will be back in the future.

Stone's throw from Ruby Falls. Perfect size for me and my wife. Close to several trail heads and attractions, but still felt like we were outside Chattanooga. Will likely stay again when visiting the area. Secure and safe area. Really no complaints. Cabin was clean and free of bugs. Comfortable and cool during the day and in the evening.

We really enjoyed our stay…our 3 boys loved the loft and the hot tub (and playing on the tennis courts down the way). The directions were clear and easy for check in/check out. We will definitely go back if we go back to Chattanooga.
