Almost Perfect Cabin

The cabin is cozy, inviting, and clean. It was perfect for my needs, which were to relax and get some quiet. The town is very near and I was able to get food delivered easily when I didn't want to leave. I wish I had more time to have a longer stay and take advantage of the porch, go to the state park, and see more of the downtown.

The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 star and not 5 is because the lake is dried up and it is not the owners fault by any means. The owners are nothing but AMAZING! We were all super happy and impressed!

Great little cabin by the lake!! It was so cozy and clean and great for our family. Well stocked with supplies and a huge plus was toys for the kids. I would highly recommend this house and host!!

We loved staying at this house! It was the best stocked house we have ever rented! We love to cook and we planned to bring most of our supplies with us from home because rental houses usually have just the minimum. This kitchen was equipped with spices, pots, pans, and more than enough supplies for a comfortable stay. Our kids loved walking down to the water and using the kayaks and water mat. There is plenty of seating and the bedrooms were the perfect fit for our group. Edita is very quick with communication and very helpful with ideas for things to do in the area. We loved our stay and would definitely come back to this location!

The cabin is very nice and clean. The owner is very nice and very easy to communicate. The lake frontage is nice and peaceful. No boat traffics. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and the float pad. Fishing was god for pan fish. Did see or catch anything but perch and blue gill. The walk from the cabin to the lake is well defined, however, if you have issues walking semi rough trails or downhill or uphill, the walk to and from the lake can be an issue. But it is well worth the trek. I have absolutely no complaints about the area of stay. Great family activities close by with just a little drive.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin located in Lake Hartwell. Our family of 6, were comfortable and enjoyed the amenities this house had to offer. Beautiful views, nice location, and fully stocked house for cooking meals and enjoying time together. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and very helpful with providing quality information in welcome emails. We will definitely be coming back.

The house was perfect, had all the amenities for a comfortable stay! Near a boat ramp so we could put in at and the dock was perfect for our boat! We will be definitely staying again! Thank you!!!

Overall a great cabin on the lake. The cabin was clean and what was as expected from the pictures. The owners had lots of extras around like toiletries and condiments. The area is very peaceful and pretty. Using their kayaks was one of our favorite activities, and the kids really enjoyed exploring the area. I would absolutely recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our time. It was a perfect home and space. The water was so low we couldn’t use the lake, but luckily we were visiting family on a different part of the lake so it worked out. I also didn’t realize there is another house very close beside this one but also luckily no one was there so we had the quiet woods to ourselves and it was heaven.

We really enjoyed this cabin. It was very clean and well stocked with lots of extra amenities from fans in all the rooms to toys for kids. The beds were very comfortable and made for a relaxing visit. We were only there for the weekend for a family wedding but wished we could have stayed longer. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Great communication from booking through stay. Cleanest property I have rented! Perfectly stocked for our stay with towels and kitchenware and the miscellaneous things like coffee filters. Location was perfect for us as it was a mile from our friends!

Property had everything we needed.

My family had a blast! This home offered wonderful outdoor space with the large covered porch, floating dock, and wooded surroundings. The house was open and very family-friendly, with many little extras! My grandchildren had to be convinced to leave to do any exploring of the surrounding areas; they were perfectly content to spend the days running up and down the river bluff, playing on the float pad, fishing, and kayaking. Location is perfect if you are looking for a little solitude and the sounds of nature. Located at the back of a cove with little to no boat traffic; dock, float, and kayaks to enjoy the water so no boat required; few, yet friendly neighbors; many local eateries off the beaten path that were great; and within 30 minutes of many nature-made attractions.
