All Year Mountain/Sunset Views ~ LAKE LURE OPENS MAY 15 2026

The views are great. Great home!

This property was incredible for us - mostly for THE VIEWS, THE VIEWS, and THE VIEWS!! While it's in the Lake Lure jurisdiction, to get to the Lake Lure beach was a 20 min drive, but we came for the views and mountain life. The house itself is in great condition (bear/mountain themed) and was roomy for all of us. Communication with the property owner was extremely quick and efficient. The drive up to the house was a little anxiety-provoking, but mostly because we are not mountain natives. We did not need a 4WD/AWD vehicle (2 minivans, and 2 SUVs), but that could have made things a little easier. Either way, we will definitely consider staying here again. A beautiful house for a beautiful celebration :)

very nice property, road leading to property is gravel and definitely a 4x4 is your best option for access. Driveway is very steep, we measured it and it came in at about 17 degrees steep! We saw a beat on our last night there. Top deck is where we hung out before and after our busy days. Definitely would stay again!!!

This was our 4th stay at this home. We especially love the views and open floor concept. Beautiful fireplace inside and fire pit outside. Extremely clean and well stocked. We enjoy hiking in the area which is our primary reason for booking. Look forward to coming back in the future!

We had a good stay…once we reached the driveway. The gravel road is a bit tough though.

This cabin is wonderful for family and friends to gather together. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The big walk around deck has lots of seating to enjoy eating outside, playing cards or just watching the beautiful view. The basement has another small living room, game room and kitchette. If your not used to driving in the mountains, please note that it is a 2 mile drive on a dirt road climbing the mountain. Once you go through the driveway gate, it is concrete and steep. We did it in a minivan with no problems.

Great all around! Amazing views, very comfortable rooms, plenty of space. The surrounding Lake Lure area is fun to explore and Asheville and other cities are day trips away.

Amazing views and great cabin. The road was a little steep getting there like they said in the listing but we had a van and it did fine. We went up and down the mountain a handful of times and felt like second nature after a while. Great house and would highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time in this cabin. The views are incredible and its so quiet up in the mountain. Its the perfect place for a relaxing family vacation. The location was also very close to popular activities like Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and Biltmore. We would definitely book again.

It was everything that we hoped for. Wasn’t sure what to expect on the drive up basing it upon previous reviews, but in all honesty the drive up wasn’t an issue. Had 4wd vehicles and never needed them. House was furnished well with cookware. Views were amazing. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock were nearby and provided entertainment when we decided to go into town to explore. Check in was easy along with check out procedures. Porch was great overlooking the mountains. Great cabin to enjoy if you need to disconnect from the crazy world. Highly recommend.
