A-frame at Goss Lake

The A-frame at Gas Lake was the perfect setting for a reunion with friends. The home is beautiful and spacious, with a lovely view down to the pond and lake.The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to cook meals together, and there were plenty of comfortable sleeping options—even the bunk beds were great. We loved the wood-burning fireplace. The host was highly responsive and accommodating.The walk around the lake (just under two miles) was a highlight, and while we didn’t use the ping-pong table, it was a fun bonus to have. A wonderful place to reconnect and unwind—highly recommend.

Beautiful, quiet, and comfortable house in a great location. Close and convenient to many Whidbey attractions, including the friendly neighborhood lake access beach. Beautiful yard with nice views and great for the kids to play in. They loved seeing all the bunnies, and even found a tiny frog!Included lots of nice amenities for the kids, as well as fully appointed with linens, towels, bath supplies, and beach towels. Host was very communicative and check-in/out was quick and easy.

Wow!! This cabin was absolute perfection. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the love and care woven into every tree, flower, and detail of this property. It’s clear that every choice made—from the decor to the layout to the land stewardship—was made from a place of deep care and intentionality. One of the most remarkable things (especially for those of us sensitive to our environments) is that there were no mold or musty smells—a rare and deeply appreciated gift when booking a cabin stay. The cabin was also easily navigated by one of our members who is a wheel chair user.Our meditation retreat was held so beautifully by this home and land. Such a happy, welcoming and beauty-filled space! And the host? An absolute gem. So kind, thoughtful, responsive, and communicative. Truly the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a magical, clean, spacious, and soul-nourishing place for a group of folks, this is it!

I stayed with some friends celebrating our book club anniversary. The house was comfortable and spacious. Would be excellent for a multi-family celebration with two full kitchen and laundry. Easy proximity to Langley and Freeland. Goss Lake is lovely. The host provided help as needed. The house is beautiful and well-equipped.

Went to Whidbey Island for a family wedding in Clinton; We had four couples and one teenager for 4 days/3 nights at this location, which was about 5 minutes from the wedding site.. It was fantastic. Large modern A-Frame home, very clean, very tastefully decorated, surrounded by beautiful trees, great views of small pond and Goss Lake. Host Sam was very helpful with information before and after arrival. Kitchen was well organized and equipped, bedding very comfortable, heating/AC solid, plenty of bathroom space for this big crowd. Could not recommend more highly.

We had a wonderful stay at the A-frame at Goss Lake with our family over a four-day weekend. Sam is a fantastic and thoughtful Host and this is reflected in how comfortable and beautifully furnished his property is. They have literally thought of every detail to make your stay special and enjoyable. We traveled with our nine month old grandson and so appreciated the baby equipment on site. The location is wonderful… We really enjoyed our morning walks around the lake and our daily morning trip to Whidbey Donuts! We highly recommend this property for a sweet and memorable getaway. We used this house for a weekend girls trip. The layout is really spacious with multiple levels. The location is very private, and just 12 minutes from downtown Langley. There is very limited to no cellphone service at the house, but the WiFi connects easily. The manager was very friendly and quick to respond to our questions. The only thing is that I would not recommend adults stay on the top bunks of the black metal bunk beds, these specific bunk beds would be more ideal for kids.
