The cabin was great. The kids loved the log cabin and the creek out back. It was centrally located to lots of fun destinations.

Property was nice. Slider lock is broken and they make you dispose of your own garbage which is a pain. Very clean!

Overall it was an amazing birthday weekend. We didn't use the hot tub as we felt like it was too big of a hassle trying to get the top on and off with a bad shoulder. We also didn't want to track grass in and out of the hot tub and leave a mess for anyone to clean. There were cobwebs all over the porches/outside furniture might want to give it a good dusting.

Cabin location was perfect! We did a lot of day trips to Bryson City, Asheville, Cherokee, and into TN, all were just about an hour drive. Very convenient no matter which direction we were heading. The cabin itself was perfect for my party of five. The creek was the main highlight. We had hours of fun times playing outside! We also had a lot of small wildlife visit and saw elk running down the valley across the creek. The cabin was stocked with a lot of games and puzzles too.The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars on everything is the mattresses were worn and need to be replaced.

Great house great location. Well stocked and equipped. Hot tub didn’t work. Owner did not hesitate to refund one nights worth of the stay which I felt was fair.

We loved the tucked away feel of this property and how close it still was to Helen. We were only a few minutes from everything we wanted to do. We ended up spending the majority of our time at the cabin. The firepit, the hottub, games, cornhole, there was much to do

The cabin was great! We had everything we needed and the place was stocked as described and clean. We loved the heated floors in the bathrooms - such a nice feature on those cold mountain mornings! The location was great - close to town but still private. We would definitely recommend this cabin!

I loved everything about the house except the dangerous driveway. It had hills & valleys in the rock driveway that looked like moguls on a ski slope. Our car shook violently as we drove up or down. If you didn't drive fast enough, you slid down, if you drove fast, the car shook from side to side. I ended up in a chiropractic office as my neck and upper body was in intense pain from the driveway. I couldn't turn my neck right or left, tried hot compresses and cold as well to alleviate the pain. The owner promises to fix the driveway but until it is fixed, I would rent another house. I was given a refund of $269.57 but my expenses for care were higher than the refund given. I feel that the owner was short sighted and should at the very least refunded the costs of my care.
