Awesome stay!!! We come back every year!!!

The house is amazing! So spacious, and the patio with outdoor fireplace is perfect. More than enough room for our children and grand children. The house is equipped with everything you could imagine. This house is perfect for a winter or summer getaway. We will rent again for sure.

Beautiful cabin nestled in the woods between Payton and Heber. Loved the space inside and out and the amenities of the cabin. Kids enjoyed exploring and I enjoyed the patio fire pit. Gracious host and awesome experience. Would love to rent again. Thank you.

This was our third stay at this house! We had 4-generations ranging in age from 2 to 79. Love this house, plenty of room for everyone. The deck with the fireplace is amazing. The kids loved making smores each evening. We took a short drive to the lake one day. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in backyard. A great time was had by all.

This is one, if not the largest rental property in Forest Lakes. It was perfect for our family gathering up North. John communicates promptly and the instruction packet is VERY detailed. Perfect VRBO experience, would highly recommend renting this large cabin.

The outdoor patio is beautiful and was incredibly comfortable for seven adults. Kitchen was well equipped. Indoor living space was equally comfortable and perfect for our weekend!

Great property- my only comment would be that there is a great porch- but it was not useable because of how much pollen and dust were all over the furniture -it was really quite dirty and if the owners would of thoroughly cleaned the porch beforehand it would have been better - they should provided a blower for guests to keep it clean - it was dirty enough that you actually couldn’t sit anywhere without getting completely filthy

We love Forest Lakes and we love the Gillis cabin.Has plenty of room for everyone. We have stayed up and did a snow trip In February and we just did an end of school trip.

Our third summer staying at this property. Great for large families. The weather in June was excellent and allowed us to eat dinners on their beautiful large front porch. Zero complaints highly recommend. Close to good fishing at Willow Springs and Woods Canyon Lakes. We also enjoyed Horseback Riding at nearby stables.

Stayed up here for a wedding, awesome place, beautiful home, clean, lots of amenities

My husband and I made a return visit with our married daughters and two grand daughters. We enjoyed an incredible snow filled weekend. The fireplaces got lots of use! Amazing stay once again!

Bedrooms cold

What a beautiful cabin!! This cabin was the perfect setting for our family weekend with our 3 grown daughters and their spouses. This property is set in a quiet neighborhood that backs up to the woods. There was plenty of space for the 8 adults and an 18 month old. The dogs really loved the woods, the trails nearby and the outdoor patio area. We all spent a lot of time on the outdoor covered patio enjoying the fires in the fireplace and the cool fresh air. The dog run was really convenient too. We will definitely come back!

We go up north often and this trip was by far the best! Cabin was clean, well organized, and the little touches made it first class! The set up was perfect for what we and our fur babies needed! And for the first time we’ve ever rented, the owner called us to ask us if we were enjoying our stay. Again, first class all the way rent this cabin and have a great experience like we did.!

Lots of room for everyone and the cabin is in a very peaceful place in Forest Lakes. Because of the location it feels like you are the only cabin in the area if you are inside or out on the deck. The deck is fantastic, big, and with the fireplace, a perfect place to sit and relax with the family. Our 5th time here and we will hopefully be back for more. Thank you

My family (Our kids, grandkids, and dogs) gets together in a cabin every year and this is the best one so far! We spent almost every night around the outside fireplace playing games and drinking coffee/hot chocolate. The deck and the dog run are both enclosed, so it made it easy on the dogs and it was great having the two master bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I go to Forest Lakes every 4 th of July. This is the first time staying in this cabin and hopefully won’t be the last. The cabin had everything we needed plus more . The host was super responsive to all my questions that came up. Very thankful for amazing service and the cleanliness, along w all the ample . The large patio with the fire pit and plenty of sitting areas was our favorite part and place to hang out :). Thank you

We were looking for a quick weekend getaway away from the city and the heat and this definitely fit the bill. It is a wonderful location, and it worked perfectly for our large family (my husband and I, our grown kids, and our grandkids, along with our dogs). The large porch is a great place to hang out, and we loved the fact that it backed right up to the National Forest. The house has great space and plenty of amenities. We could tell that the owners took great care of the place and seemed to think of everything. We would definitely stay here again.
