Beautiful scenery all around house. Extremely quiet and clean. The water in shower was hot even with the six of us showering. Perfect for family and pet-friendly.

Check in was the only snag e ran into, but they answered the phone and the issue was quickly resolved. Beds were really comfortable, rooms were cozy, bathroom was clean, kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

We were very pleased with our week-long stay end of July/beginning of August. The cabin is so interesting! The wood, the trim, the doors, the layout--it was all lovely. There was more than enough room for our family of five. The beds were SO comfortable! We loved how the kitchen was stocked with things we needed (seasonings, coffee, tea, some cleaning things). We have T-Mobile and had good service at the home (but not so much leading up to the home). The internet was ok. We saw several animals--hummingbirds, deer, raccoons, chipmunks, and at night heard owls and coyotes and/or wolves from the sanctuary a few miles away (definitely recommend to visit!). The sky at night is absolutely beautiful, and we were able to see shooting stars! I can totally see how you would need 4X4 to get there in the winter, but we were fine in a mini-van during our summer visit. It was great having three bathrooms with showers! Water pressure was good and the water hot. The washer and dryer worked well. The cabin sits at approx. 8,600 ft. You can see mountains and there are a lot of trees. It was so quiet! It got pretty cold at night (high 40s, low 50s), and we didn't really need A/C as it didn't get very warm while we were there, high 70s/low 80s during the day. The ceiling fan in the living room worked well and we brought our own small fans to use. We would love to stay here again next summer and continue exploring the area! Thank you! Dr. M and Family

We booked this property for a Fourth of July family reunion. 6 adults and 1 toddler. We were very comfortable. Stunning views. Wish we could have booked one more day. We enjoyed all the wildlife and got a kick out of the deer that would lounge in the shed on the property. We plan ros rah beee again!

The cabin was beautiful and quaint with great decor and had plenty of sleeping room. The beds were all comfortable, even the futons in the family room. There were plenty of televisions and games to play in the basement area. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife (deer/squirrels) around the cabin and area. (They do like to eat grapes and carrots)!. The entire area is gravel so do be prepared for dirty vehicles. The scenery makes up for that though. Towels for shower use were supplied which is also great. There is a nice dining set on the porch for eating/hanging out also. make sure to look up at the stars at night-amazing! Beware the porch is a bit dangerous due a step down with no marking. There are also spare throw blankets to use which came in handy for sitting on the porch at night. The internet and cell reception is mediocre at best. I don't believe this is the owner's fault, as you are staying a bit off the grid. Could also depend on your carrier. We often couldn't research where we wanted to go to dinner etc so do that while you are In town. Also, there is not air conditioning and it didn't get that cool at night while we stayed (June 17-21). You may want to bring a fan if you are able to for each bedroom. Or possibly the owner could install ceiling fans or a fan in each bedroom. WE really were miserable as temps were in the high 80s/low 90's during the day and windows were hard to open. The place was very clean. We would use again in a heartbeat.

Quiet, comfortable house, beautiful area. great location for us, as we have family in the neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked and the store 10 minutes away had all the groceries we needed.
