Stayed Jun 5, 2026This unit had a better kitchen than one I had previously stayed in. It had a medium-sized refrigerator/ freezer. There is a great grocery store with reasonable prices just down the hill, Lynns Dakota Mart. The Mickelson Trail and a small Park are easily accessed a few blocks away.

Stayed Oct 4, 2024Really enjoyed staying at Ponderosa Place. The cabin was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Stayed three nights and so glad I chose this place. Parking in front of the unit and within walking distance of the restaurants and grocery store in Custer. So convenient! Sure beats staying in a hotel room.

Stayed Sep 28, 2024Wonderful 1 bedroom cabin in Custer S. Dakota. The cabin is rustic in decor, cosy and comfortable. The cabin is close downtown, easy walking distto grocery restaurants and things to do. We had a terrific vaca.

Stayed Sep 17, 2024Exactly as depicted in description. For two people there is plenty of room and the location near downtown Custer and the highways leading to all the Black Hills sites are very convenient. My wife and I would recommend others to book this cabin.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024Cozy little cabin! Very clean and fully stocked with plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, etc. We had neighbors and never heard any of them. Quiet end of town and easy to find! Will for sure stay again if in the area.
