Nice property and stocked well. Host was helpful yet non intrusive.
I'm not a big fan of writing reviews but this property screams for a wonderful review. The owners were warm and friendly. While we were unaware that the owners stayed next door to the cabin once we were checked in they allowed us the privacy we expected. If you enjoy beautiful scenery and views, the quiet comfort of surrounding mountains and farmland then this is the place to stay. We spent most of our time sitting on the front porch in the swing. It was wonderful.
Unfortunately... we could only stat one night, but my family wants to go back sooooo very bad to enjoy more of the location But while there... I can say the property was gorgeous. As my daughter said... it even includes cows ?. The sunset was amazing and the layout was very nice. Checkout was very easy to follow and understand. When I had questions, they were answered promptly. But lastly... it just felt like home away from home... even for just a 24 hour stay to watch my daughter graduate from Western and be surprised with a future son-in-law.
3rd stay here. Great!
Awesome, would stay here again. My son loves the cows.
Our house/cabin was amazing. I have stayed here once before and I had to come back. The house has everything you need and then some. The upfront porch, the lower swing was my favorite. You can sit and swing and observe all the natural surroundings. Linda has information for her guest as to where to eat, shop, and find attractions for the whole family. I love this place. It’s always clean.
Beautiful property with vistas of mountains, cattle, wild turkeys and more. We enjoyed hiking and relaxing on the front porch enjoying the view.
We couldn't be happier with our stay at Holly Springs Hideaway. We were only there for a night, on the way to see Taylor Swift in Atlanta, but it was the perfect relaxing escape before the craziness of the weekend in ATL. We took a stroll to visit the cows and the creek and watched the sun set on the mountains from the front porch, and the next day we explored Franklin and Highlands. Grateful to have found this place and to Linda for sharing it! We will definitely be planning a trip back!
On first glance, the cabin itself and the property are beautiful. It was nicely decorated and sits on a large piece of land. Check-in was easy, though I felt that the space could have been cleaner. There was a lot of Christmas decor, which was nice. We also loved the big front porch and its beautiful view of the sunset. This space is directly connected to where the hosts live. So if you're looking for utter privacy, I wouldn't recommend. We didn't realize this while booking. I'd also like to note that the next to the fire pit, in a window of the garage, there is a combination American / Confederate flag displayed. We were shocked and felt very uncomfortable by this display.
This cabin was amazing, plenty of room, yet cozy enough to have family time. Every detail was thought of and the decorations for Christmas was a great bonus. Will definitely book again.
This was our second stay here. We love it- comfortable, spacious, welcoming. Love the view, the cows, birds, Franklin, beautiful leaves! We hope to return!
Our stay could not have been better. I chose this property because we were going to the Polar Express in Bryson City. Most of the accommodations there included things like gambling chips and that's just not the atmosphere I wanted. It is a wonderful place to bring children as the space to run seems endless. Inside the home is very kid friendly as well with a nice assortment of games and books. Looking forward to another visit! PS Travel time is an easy 40 minutes to Bryson City.
We had a lovely time hanging out. Wonderful open sky view of the changing leaf colors across a vista of mountains from a huge deck with comfortable seating. There was a Hugh stack of dried cut wood for our evening fires. The fire pit has large circular logs that surrounding it. There are large comfortable rocking chairs you can “haul”:over to the pit. We suggest getting rid of the large logs as they impede the spaces you can put the chairs. Sitting on an upright log is not what we wanted to sit on after a day of hiking and cooking. Just sayin.
This was a gorgeous cabin to stay in and super clean. The beds were very comfortable and the views were amazing. Linda was very nice and responsive as well. Will definitely have to come back one day!
Seven of us came for a motorcycle weekend trip. We had the best time. I have rented cabins all over for years but this was by far the best. Best views, best accommodations, best attention from the owners! We will definitely be back soon! This cabin was far enough out of town to be secluded but close enough to be convenient for meals and day rides on the bikes. Definitely recommend!
The property and accommodations were absolutely perfect. The mountain views were utterly amazing. The front porch made for the optimum vantage point for observing the scenic views of the surrounding mountains. Linda has turned her home into a mountain Shangri-la. Everything was perfectly cozy and Linda was a perfect hostess. I look forward to many happy returns . The entire experience was fabulous !
Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed this home and its amazing views and peaceful setting. We had all we needed for the week and were close to so many day trip options. Linda was very responsive when we had questions. We’d definitely stay again.
Went to school back in 1990 as a Seasonal National Park Service Law Enforcement Ranger and fell in love with Franklin. A lot has changed but still a great place. Main reason for coming was mining at Mason Mountain Rhodolite and Ruby Mine. Tom and Ginger are really great people and we had a lot of fun at their mine. We are already planning on coming back. The Moore place is FANTASTIC, the view from the back balcony is unbelievable.
This is my second stay at this property and met all expectations. A perfect getaway from the daily hustle of city life.
The house is beautiful and the view is amazing. It was nice to watch the animals and drink a cup of coffee on the porch. Also a great place to wind down in the evening with a glass of wine. It's very spacious with everything you need. I didn't bring my 2 year old son with me but if I had, he would have had everything he needed! So many nice amenities for parents with children!
The property is amazing, beautiful and clean. The space is excellent for a big group. The property manager was always available.
Everything was great! Easy check in process, super helpful property manager, & the cabin is immaculate. Definitely recommend staying here. Sunset was incredible!
Everything was in top shape. The place was fully stocked. The view was spectacular. We enjoyed walking on the property, making a fire in the fire pit and just sitting on the deck looking at the sunset. We ate all our meals on the deck because it was so beautiful. During the day we enjoyed hiking various trails and sight seeing in the area.
This is our 3rd stay. The property is comfortable and complete. Our Host Linda is the best. There is much to do in the area. The views of the mountains are a blessing from God
