Located on the southern shore of beautiful Indian Lake, Unit #5 is only steps away from the shared beachfront of Sunset View resort. Originally founded in the late 30's with traditional log cabins for summertime get-a-ways. Cabin 5 is one of the 3 remaining original cabins. Six total properties …some are private.

Stayed Oct 18, 2025The cabin was very well-appointed, and it was clear that the hosts put a lot of attention and care into making it a very welcoming place to stay. It was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed to cook and relax and enjoy ourselves.

Stayed Oct 24, 2025We stayed two nights here and met our college daughter and her friend. My MIL and our dog came with us. There were plenty of sleeping options for everyone. We cooked two family meals in the well stocked kitchen. Two bathrooms was appreciated. A very pleasant stay, we will likely be back this summer We liked it so much. Highly recommend, and the walk out to the lighthouse in town was great!

Stayed Sep 18, 2025EXCELLENT PLACE! Cabin was even nicer than photos and decorated so cute. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need!Hosts were GREAT, easy to communicate with and immediately resolved a plumbing issue we had. Allowed us to bring our 2 big doggies who also loved their stay! Would stay here again without any hesitation!

Stayed Jul 29, 2025This property was a wonderful base camp for all of our adventures in the U.P. We also really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and personal touches as well as the back porch lakeside vibe. The only problem we encountered was with the ac unit. It was an unusually hot day for this area when we first arrived and the unit kept throwing a code.The owner was very responsive and helpful, visiting us personally to make sure everything was OK. Would recommend!!

Stayed Jun 28, 2025Beautiful accommodations, clean, fully equipped, Larry and Kathy thought of everything. Peaceful, relaxing and quiet, fantastic scenery. Dogs enjoyed swimming in the lake. A small personal fire pit with each cabin would add to the ambience. Such a wonderful week. I plan on returning with my granddaughter.
