Willie’s house is magical! It’s very comfortable with lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful view. The property is amazing! Perfect spot to enjoy a break from the parks. One of my favorite houses we’ve ever stayed in. Loved it!!

This place is spectacular! The views were indescribable and just have to be witnessed. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever been somewhere so quiet. We live in NC, so even quiet areas where we live include a lot of insect noises, but not there. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Willie was super-accommodating and kept us well-informed as there was a fire that affected our route from Salt Lake City, and was also causing power outages across multiple counties. He was extremely responsive and helpful, and always strived to keep us informed. We did lose power for around 8 hours or so through the early morning/mid morning hours one of the days we were there, and Willie was very generous in offering options during the outage. We managed the minor inconvenience and could not complain about anything. The first trip to the house can be a little unnerving as you try and navigate your way with the instructions as GPS has no idea where the home is. There are some climbs and some steep drop offs along the road up to the house, but the views are so worth it! After the first drive up, it was much easier to get to. It would be beneficial to have a vehicle with some ground clearance for the trip if that’s an option for you. All said, I really hope we’re fortunate enough to get to stay here again. We hope to get back out to Utah in the next year or two and definitely have plans of staying here a few nights to unwind and relax.

Beautiful property and views. Great accommodations and prompt responses. It was missing a couple of things - working coffee maker and dishwasher detergent. Unfortunately on the second day we did not have electricity or water due to wildfires. It made it quite challenging. We could not wash anything, do dishes, or cook. Once it was dark we couldn't do much of anything. This was very disappointing for my family. It was suppose to be our 2 days to relax, refresh, wash clothes, make a nice meal near the end of our long road trip and camping.

This facility is exceptional. The house is absolutely beautiful. The property is like being in a national park! It is somewhat remote, very quiet, and the views are stupendous. The night sky is breathtaking. Highly.recommend!

Our stay was incredible. This spot is an experience like no other. From the views to the beautiful interior to the privacy of this cozy space it was unforgettable. Perfect for couples and families to enjoy Capitol Reef. We loved it so much it was hard to leave. We hiked and saw beautiful parts of the park and enjoyed cooking and relaxation at the house. You won’t be disappointed. We hope to get a chance to return again.

The views on this plateau are absolutely breathtaking and there are ample windows to make sure that you can see them. The placement makes the home a true retreat. The radiant heated floor make it feel cozy. The house itself was beautifully built with lots of space to be together in. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked with tools. The photos around the property (by the owner) are absolutely stunning. It is critical to read the very thoughtful and precise directions to the house. The only thing that needed potential improvement was a checkout manual. But really, that is not a criticism of tht property at all. The stay was lovely.
