Located in the heart of Walkerville, this 2-bedroom reconstructed hotel room is the perfect choice for couples or travelling executives looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. The property offers onsite parking, and complimentary wifi throughout your stay. For a quick coffee or a delicious meal, Taloola Cafe is conveniently located on the ground floor. The hotel is situated near the Hiram Walker & Sons Distillery, and steps from great places to eat, drink and be merry!

Formerly a hotel, the Crown Inn is a late 19th century, four-story, red brick structure with both Queen Anne and Romanesque Revival style design elements.

The building is currently under renovations. Be aware that there may be drywall and other renovation materials in the hallway. be assured that your unit is perfectly clean, so we ask you to pardon the mess. The building is being fully renovated to bring it back to it`s former glory as the Crown Inn, while adding a number of modern features to bring it to the 21st century.
Our house rules are indicated below, please review them carefully, as we set out strict measures for all rules listed. Thank you!`
1. No shoes to be worn inside the home.
2. Quiet hours start at 10 pm on weeknights and 11 pm on weekends.
3. No smoking on the property, including outside. If you must smoke, please find another location to smoke.
4. Pets must be registered.
5. No parties and/or large social gatherings. No events, birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette stays. Please be transparent and honest. Guests partying will be asked to vacate the property immediately without a refund.
6. We do a towel count and bed sheet count prior to you checking in. Kindly ensure none is taken out of the property.
7. Sheets and/or towels should not be stained. We understand there is normal wear and tear, but guest should do their utmost to keep towels and sheets the way they found them.
8. Check-in and Check-out times are MANDATORY unless scheduled and confirmed at a minimum of 24 hours in advance and if we are able to accommodate without double booking. Our cleaners are on tight schedules
9. All guests per night must be registered. Please be honest. We must coordinate cleaners and inventory based on the number of guests that occupy the unit.
10. Please leave all shoes at the front door and do not wear them throughout the house.
11. Please do not damage/take or loose anything on the property. Please do not leave any personal belongings behind during your stay. We will not be held responsible for lost/ misplaced or stolen items.
12. Lock all windows and doors if you are not home.
13. Turn off all lights when not in use.
14. If there is any maintenance issue, please contact us so we can send someone to fix it.
15. Garbage is not to be left inside the unit upon check-out. Please dispose off all garbage inside the unit to the outdoor bins.
16. Garbage, recycling, and organic wastes are to be disposed off properly and up to city regulations.
17. No Moving / Rearranging of the furniture.
18. No unplugging of electronics like TVs, cable boxes, lamps, Roku sticks, etc.
19. Our time of operation is Monday-Sunday from 9 AM-1:30 AM EST, and our check-in time is between 4 PM-11 PM

    Cool building with a cozy cafe on the ground floor. Building should be great once Reno’s are completed.

    Comfortable unit in a great old building, with terrific views of river and Detroit. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds excellent. The location is perfect if you have time to enjoy Walkerville and the riverfront. The café downstairs is a bonus as is the combo washer-dryer. Communication with hosts is regular and thorough. I return to Windsor at least annually and would come back to this unit.

    Great location. Was pleasantly surprised by this area of Windsor. Makes us think about moving. Only issue with the apartment was the steep set of stairs. Not good for anyone with a disability
