Penelope’s B&B was absolutely beautiful and a great place to stay right in the French Quarter everything was clean and fresh and our bed was devine lots and lots of room everything as advertised which is very refreshing considering a lot of places have not updated photos of their accommodations we will definitely recommend this place to others and will stay there when we go back

Our whole group was unanimous in absolutely loving our stay at Penelope's home. The architecture and decor is beautiful, everything was very clean, and the host was very responsive to our requests. The street was quiet for sleeping at night and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the afternoon experiencing the Treme vibe. It was an easy walk to Congo Square for Rhythm Festival, and also walkable to the French Quarter and Frenchman's St. Definitely recommend staying here for a fun time in NOLA.

We came for a long weekend for my cousins wedding. The house is a great distance from most downtown activities! No complaints about the house itself either. The checkout process was easy- no weird requests or chores from the owner.

My friends and I loved staying here for a long weekend. The house is so cool and is in a great location for walking to Frenchman and the quarter. Quiet neighborhood too! Penelope responded to my questions fast and was very helpful. We will stay here again!

The home and the ambience was great. The decor was a little dim and rugs on the flooring could use a deep cleaning . And the sheets on some of the beds were worn . And there was surround sound speakers but not for the guest to use . I had to call the owner once because the 3rd bathroom was locked . Minor improvements and this would be a 5 star stay !

Check in was easy. Hostess answered right away when we had trouble with key code on one door. Very comfortable. Even had a Christmas tree. One friend who used to p,at for the Knoxville Symphony was fascinated by the signed posters. Neighborhood was a bit boisterous on Friday but quiet on Saturday night. Would have enjoyed learning more history of the neighborhood and home. Wasn't sure about parking on the street, but had no issues. Would stay here again.

Stayed here for a bachelorette trip with 4 people and it was the perfect size! The water pressure in the 2 bathrooms was great. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the French Quarter, so bring good walking shoes!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Having the whole house with each couple getting a bathroom to ourselves was amazing. The house was very charming with a lot of accommodations we would not have received elsewhere. While there was not a lot of noise transfer between the walls, the front bedroom was louder due to its proximity to the street especially with Mardi Gras-goings on. Because of Mardi Gras, we found that it was quite a walk to get anywhere as we couldn't get an Uber/Lyft, so our feet were wrecked by the end of the trip. Outside of Mardi Gras though, I don't think that would be a problem. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
