Look no further for Paradise! We invite you to experience the pristine beauty of the Pacific coastline at our rustic adobe-style home. We are located on the 12 mile sparsely populated Playa Blanca beach just 12 minutes from the International airport and less than a half an hour from the resort areas of Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa. This spacious 2nd floor bedroom with a private entrance has a comfortable king-size bed; or, 2 twin beds (your choice), a sitting area and bathroom with a walk-in shower. Your room opens directly onto your balcony where you will be surrounded by native tropical landscaping. Open-air dining promises an enjoyable dining experience. Enjoy early morning walks where you have the beach to yourself as well as incomparable, magnificent sunsets every night.

Seeking quiet and tranquility During the day relax under the coconut palms at our private pool while reading a book or napping in a hammock.

Would you like to pamper yourself We can schedule a therapeutic massage in the privacy of your room or outside under the palm trees while being caressed by gentle ocean breezes.

Looking for more action We can arrange trips for kayaking, snorkeling, whale and dolphin watching, or horseback riding on the beach. Or, if you desire, you can ride a bike, fly a kite or throw a fishing line into the surf.

And, not only is our area a renowned destination for sports fishing, it beckons bird-watchers as a celebrated migratory nesting area and permanent home for hundreds of species.

I can not say enough about this lovely hidden little gem! Wendy & Pete are the best hosts that go above and beyond! Beautiful variety of fresh fruit breakfast with baking, breads, bagels, yogurt, Mexican cheese, eggs and fruit juices. Oh and some of the BEST Mexican coffee! Many restaurants close by, and an amazing one across the road!! We ride bikes to town most days, kayaked in the lagoon, walked the beach and jumped on the combi to Zihua-everything you require is at your finger tips. Even a massage therapist! Wendy & Pete are very knowledgeable with the area. Wendy is also is involved with the turtle sanctuary and invited me along to the turtle release program. We had so much fun getting to know this amazing couple and will definitely be back again. We highly recommend this location for a relaxed holiday to get out of the commercialism of the vacation hotels and experience the real beauty of what Barra de Potosi is all about! A rare gem with wonderful hosts!

Owners were a delight - friendly and professional. Our accommodation was upstairs where we enjoyed a pleasant shady breeze on the verandah. Comfortable large bed. Everything we needed was available. The property is right on a big beautiful beach with medium surf, but there is also a swimming pool. Everything was to our liking. Access to Zihua is by taxi or local public minibus (30 pesos) that stops outside the gate.

Peter and Wendy are wonderful hosts. Barra de Potosi is the perfect place if you want to experience a real Mexican fisherman town. Peter and Wendy’s home is right on the beach and has a beautiful pool and open kitchen/dining room. The rooms are perfectly clean and well equipped. We shared breakfast with our hosts and they made us feel at home. We will definitely return.
