Nanny's Place boasts country charm with a wraparound porch, swing, large yard and parking area. Conveniently located by a small town in the heart of Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, Shawnee National Forest hiking trails, Bald Knob Cross, several wedding venues, close to hunting spots, rock climbing areas, and country roads for jeeping. Guests are welcomed with a continental breakfast highlighted with homemade strawberry jam or freshly baked zucchini bread. Settle in the evening with a glass of Nanny's Sweet Tea or some wine from one of the area's many local wineries.. Gazing at bright stars in the dark sky will overwhelm you while roasting complimentary marshmallows by the fire pit. You get the entire spacious main floor of this home which has a fully stocked kitchen with pots & pans, plenty of utensils, dishes, several small appliances, full refrigerator with ice maker, range, microwave, dish washer, Smart TV, porch swing, patio furniture, two bedrooms with linens for comfy queen beds, ceiling fans and blackout curtains to ensure a good night's sleep. A futon with bedding is included and an air mattress with linens.

Guests will stay at Nanny' Place in the Cozy Porchview Getaway which is the main level of the house. This level includes a wrap-around porch with a swing, large outdoor area, a fire pit and spacious parking area behind the house. The garage and Cozy Rustic Getaway which is the walkout basement level is not included. We want every guest to enjoy a comfortable peaceful stay- therefore parties, events, gatherings and unregistered visitors are not permitted so not to disturb other guests on the lower Cozy Rustic Getaway level. If you need more space and total privacy we suggest Nanny's Place-Entire Home Getaway, which includes both floor levels and can accommodate 10 guests. Very friendly hosts. Met them and they were a pleasure to interact with. They had one of the most complete array of amenities that we have ever encountered in our trips! We did have some issues with losing TV service on our last night, but I imagine that it was not their fault.All in all a pleasant experience.

The house was wonderful. It had everything we needed & more. It was clean & comfortable and felt like home. The property owner was very friendly, easy to communitcate with, and very responsive. She left homemade treats & supplied other complimentary gifts. The house was located in a prime area for us to drive to the local wineries on the Shawnee Wine Trail and hiking the Little Grand Canyon.

This property hit the mark for us. We were in town for a big birthday party with family and friends. While there was only two bedrooms we had plenty of room to invite over our family after the offsite party for pizza night and a big yard to play for the kids. Plenty of parking. Comfortable bedding and clean. From step one Lisa the owner was kind and responsive. She went over the top to provide complimentary foods that met allergy needs. Pictures were accurate. We would stay here again! Thank you Lisa!
