Our three themed bedrooms are super fun. The Daisy Cottage on the main level is soft and romantic. The lower level bedroom has the soul of a Bohemian. We call her The Gypsy Room. The loft, or as we like to call it, The Crow's Nest is a walk on the wild side and now is affectionately named the Jungle Room. All bedrooms have king sized beds. The lodge has the kitchen, dining room and living room on the main level. Our custom decor will have you falling in love with the inside as much as the outside. This lake side property is equipped with a dock to fish from, covered hot tub and BBQ area. The lakeside fire pit area has a custom totem pole, carved with wildlife from our area. Our property sits next to Shawnee National Forest, Trails of Tears State Forest and LaRue Pine Hill, which has thousands of acres for exploring. Our lower level game room has a retro design perfect for hanging with your friends. Feel free to spin our vintage records, play games, have a cup of coffee while watching the fish play. We have bass, bluegill, catfish and crappie. We have wild life including hoot owls, deer, and the occasional bald eagle. Southern Illinois is a great location for birdwatching. The Shawnee Hills Wine Trail is a hop, skip and a jump away. The Shawnee Shittle can pick you up at the door step to enjoy the wine trail, & deliver you safely back. Margie B's Mid Mod Lake Lodge was built in 1970. The renter must be at least 25 years of age. You must take a shower with soap before entering the hot tub.br• If you have been down at the lake fishing the hot tub is not a place to wash off, you must take a shower and wash your hands before getting into the hot tub.br• NO Drinking, Smoking or eating in hot tub anyone of theses if dropped in will contaminate the water AND WILL cause it to cloud up and foam.br• Hot Tub use is Not permitted while it is sprinkling, raining, hailing or sleeting, the precipitation will change the balance of chemicals causing the water to be cloudy.br• Leaving the Hot Tub cover off of the hot tub while not in use will let bugs and flying particles get into the water.br• Lowering the Hot tub temperature below 99 degrees will cause the pump not to circulate, resulting in cloudy water.br• If you have had diarrhea/Vomiting in the last 24 hours or a open wound, DO NOT get in the Hot Tub!br• I recommend if 99 degree water is too hot, stay out of Hot Tub (this is Not a swimming pool)brAbsolutely, NO GLASS containers near the hot tub; around the hot tub or even on the deck in which the hot tub is located.brThere will be a Minimum $150 charge for misuse/Abuse of the hot tub during your stay such as a low water level, contamination, unusually dirty/cloudy/foamy water or foreign objects in hot tub.
