Stayed May 17, 2018Spacious-good for couple of family as well as for solo adult like me. Bedroom, kitchenette and 'living room' and bathroom, in railroad fashion, with a small balcony. Hosts allowed me to drop off luggage hours before check-in and to check-in a couple hours early, which was appreciated. They were installing new A/C and givng place a thorough cleaning before I arrive as last longer term tenant had left things in a mess. I never heard other guests. Block is quiet.

Stayed Mar 30, 2026Cute one bedroom apartment a little bed nook in addition which I slept in—my kiddo slept in the bedroom. Very clear instructions and communication with management. The Wi-Fi went out because of a big thunderstorm and was replaced with new equipment the very next day. Great back porch with cafe table. Kitchenette is useful but not for cooking a full meal. Amazing location. Good restaurant recommendations. Overall an A plus experience. Would one hundred percent recommend. What a joyful town!!

Stayed Mar 19, 2026This is our second stay at this lovely Garden District property. The location is perfect- close to the FQ, Warehouse District, Uptown, University area, and even Metairie. Plenty of parking available. Super cute and comfortable. The 2nd bed area was very charming and cozy. Loved opening the doors to the balcony. I am a NOLA native who has moved away and I absolutely recommend the Magazine Street Retreat.

Stayed Mar 11, 2026I loved how old, quaint, and cozy it was. Very fitting. Be prepared for stairs. Beds were pretty good. The AC/fans worked well. Loved the convenience of the plugs for electronics by both beds. We had everything we needed.

Stayed Mar 5, 2026This was such a great place to stay! Excellent location with many wonderful restaurants and a park within walking distance. The host, Jules, was very responsive and shared lots of great restaurants to check out during our visit. The stairs going up to the unit are very steep, but the unit was lovely and had a nice balcony and bistro set to get a bit of fresh air while sipping your morning coffee!

Stayed Jan 24, 2025We stayed on Magazine St for a month long visit to New Orleans. Was a great location to explore the city. Very quiet, comfortable and much to do and see in the neighborhood. Were able to walk or take the city bus to downtown and the French Quarter.
