A beautiful property run by lovely welcoming hosts,Yves and Martine. Charming, well appointed room, super comfortable bed, fabulous shower and delicious fresh breakfast. It was a perfect one night stay.

What a lovely place!We have been travelling now for 6 weeks and L’olivette is by far the best accommodation encountered. We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming bed and breakfast, and it truly exceeded our expectations I’m every way. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome. They were not only warm and friendly but also very informative, offering helpful recommendations about the local area and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The accomodation itself was spotless, with a clear attention to detail that made it feel both fresh and inviting. The room was beautifully presented, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable - we slept better than we have in ages.Each morning started on a high note with an excellent breakfast. Everything was freshly prepared, delicious, and thoughtfully presented, making it a highlight of our stay.Overall, this bed and breakfast provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The combination of attentive hosts, clean and comfortable surroundings, and outstanding food made it a place we would happily return to and recommend to others.

We had a wonderful week at L’Olivette. Exactly as advertised. Our room was very spacious and clean and we enjoyed a beautiful fresh breakfast every morning with our lovely hosts. We highly recommend this property. We will be back!

This place was superb! Everything was so clean and well decorated. Breakfast was incredible; the food was lovely and we really enjoyed our morning chats with Martine and Yves. We would recommend doing the Tomaree Head Summit Walk (walkable from the B&B) - it is stunning at sunset!We loved our stay here and will definitely come again when we’re next in the area.

The accommodation was beautifully styled and spotless. The breakfast was fabulous, both in what we had but also in the great flexibility as we were trying to work in with friends and we were made to feel very welcome.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at L'Olivette! Our room was clean and well appointed, and very comfortable. We loved how the Mediterranean architecture of the building created a sense of escape from the city. The highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast of pastries, museli, yoghurt, and fruit. It was thoughtfully presented and honestly some the best food we ate while at Nelson Bay!

We felt very welcome. Martine and Yves were amazing hosts. There home was beautiful and breakfast was sensational.

This place is a little gem. ( not so little) can't fault anything about the hosts, our room, the breakfast with home made french pastries, jam & yoghurt, cleanliness or the ambience. Just delightful! I wanted to stay!

The room was spacious, beautifully done out, clean and quiet. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. I was very disappointed I could not stay for the famous French breakfast so many others rave about but I had to be up and gone before 6.00am. Next time!

Yves and Martine are the perfect hosts and their property is delightful. They have obviously devoted a lot of time and energy to providing a wonderful experience for their guests.The area is very quiet and the room was well appointed and comfortable.The breakfast was exceptional with the majority all the offerings hand made, with the pastries in particular being much better and fresher than from a bakery. The handmade yoghurt was the best we’ve tasted.Easy and pleasant conversation during the entire stay made this a very pleasant stay.Highly recommended when considering a stay in the Nelson Bay area.

This was a wonderful find! The property was unique, beautifully French (as were the hosts!) who spent time telling us about the area and ensuring we were comfortble in their lovely home. Martine made an amazing breakfast with homemade breads and jams. Highly recommend!

An absolute hidden gem. Loved staying here, feels like a little piece of Provence. Martine’s french breakfast was wonderful. Also close enough to take a lovely walk to Shoal Bay. The room was very comfortable. Highly recommend and hope to be back again. Thanks again, Yves and Martine!

Hosts Yves and Martine were friendly, the private bedroom with own bathroom, patio, and good bed was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, the breakfast with home baked pastries was excellent and extra welcoming touches were evidence of our hosts thoughtfulness.

Hosts Eve's & Martine have created a wonderful environment for a getaway. The unit is clean, comfortable & handy to amenities, and the breakfast is mostly homemade, tasty & just what you need to get you through the morning. Would stay her again

L'olivette is a beautiful house! The Lavender room that we stayed in was perfect. It was furnished beautifully and was very comfortable (and quiet).The hosts Martine and Yves are lovely people and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was simple and superb! Martine is a very good cook!I would recommend L'olivette to anyone that is looking for a relaxing getaway. We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful little piece of Provence in Nelson Bay. Quiet area within walking distance to the beach and shops.Yves and Martine were the perfect hosts very warm and hospitable.The room beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean & I am very fussy couldn't fault it.Fresh home baked bread rolls and brioche served with butter and jams. Beautifully presented fresh fruit plate yoghurt and muesli along with fresh coffee every morning.Delightful place to stay would happily recommend LOlivette and happily return.

A truly wonderful experience! Beautifully designed and styled French Villa, with comfort and style throughout. Hosts were delightful, and the delicious French inspired continental breakfast overlooking the stunning garden each morning was a highlight! I would recommend this beautiful Stayz getaway to anyone wishing to experience, or revisit, the style, food and hospitality of France! C’est magnifique!

Martine and Yves' property is spectacular! 20 min walk down to the beach and restaurants. The home itself is gorgeous and everything from the check in, to the breakfast and the friendliness is kind, considerate and the epitome of hospitality.

L’Olivette is the most beautiful B & B. The Lavender room is a delight to stay in … everything is so thoughtfully provided with extra little touches to make it so comfortable and relaxing. Will hopefully be able to return and enjoy staying there again, and enjoy the warm hospitality of Martine and Yves.

The B&B run by Yves and her husband was very welcoming and cosy. The room was large and in impeccable condition. Beautiful French provincial decor and styling, and so relaxing. A short drive from town, and in a peaceful neighbourhood. A delicious homemade breakfast was also included. Couldn't find anything to fault.
