Stayed Jun 9, 2019We were greeted as family and in fact thought some of the other guests were family. They did not speak english and we did not speak any of the languages they spoke but with google translate and some of the other guests we had no problem. Even after the other guests left. They even invited us to join them for the evening meal and it was one of the best we had off of an open barbeque.

Stayed Oct 24, 2019The old farmhouse is amazing with lots of antiques and the property is so pretty. All the amazing details make this the perfect, relaxing spot to spend a few days. The rooms are quaint with all the special extras, and the reception from Anabelle and Jean=Pierre was wonderful! We had a great breakfast with pastry and charcouterie, etc. Couldn't ask for more!

Stayed Jun 27, 2017The GPS coordinates given on HomeAway site are incorrect, and it took us a bit of time to make contact. The owners had to come to a local cafe and guide us back. But, in spite of our pathetic rudimentary Portuguese and a smattering of Française, all went pretty well. The hosts were very kind and solicitous about our recent experience with the terrible forest fires near Figueiró dos Vinhos and chatted with us, fed us royally and made us very comfortable. I loved the whispering of the giant reeds at night - it sounded like rain, which we crave. All was good, except perhaps the bed pillows, which were those bouncy rubber things and hot at night. Bring your own!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our host Jean-Pierre and Annabella were warm and accommodating, sharing a bottle of wine with us upon our arrival. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and very spacious. Their generosity and helpfulness could not have been better. We made a day trip to Alcobaca and Obidos and trips to Nazare both nights for dinner, with maps in hand and general directions supplied by our hosts. Breakfast was a riot of fruits from their trees, meats, cheeses and breads from the local shops and eggs made to order. We had a wonderful time in a little quiet spot, even though there are train tracks right next to the property, the train is fairly silent and quick to past. Jean-Pierre and Annabella even helped us pick our next stop in Aveiro since we did not have plans other than to head toward Porto. We would go back again, no questions asked.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969warm welcome from Annabella and Jean-Pierre! Rooms are nices and lot's of place, very clean as well. Good localisation, 5 min from the center of Nazare. It was really a perfect place for holidays, nice meeting and so good to be quiet in the swimming pool :) Breackfast is delicious, and for the other meals you can cook outside. Thank you very much Annabella and Jean-Pierre, and see you very soon! Elodie and Didier
