We drove up the beautiful mountain road to their charming and impressive log home, greeted by their two dogs who calmed down after we were around a bit. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and down-to-earth. Gene is a professional chef so we chose to have dinner there also (from an impressive menu) and were very happy that we did. We chose to sit out on the deck, with a panorama of mountains including the Rockies in Glacier National Park. The bed was comfortable, the amenities were nice, the breakfast was good (we went simple for that meal), and their home is very relaxing. We weren't there long enough to utilize their supply of movies, games, books, or pool table. We plan to return soon, if they aren't booked!

Wonderful experience. Gene and Anne Marie are excellent hosts. I had early morning tours and they were wonderful to insure that I started my day off with a great made-to-order breakfast each morning! Willow was so sweet and greeted me each morning which sure helped this dog lover not miss her own doggie so much!

What a lovely venue with lovely hosts - Gene, Anne Marie and the lovely dog Willow! We completely lucked out as they had a last-minute cancellation and we made a last-minute decision to travel to Kalispell, and wow! The room was very comfortable and clean, the bed was at just the perfect level of softness and the location! So private with incredible views, loved being able to leave the windows open and smell the fresh, clean forest smell. Before breakfast I was able to sit outside on the deck, watching I don't even know how many hummingbirds buzz around, fighting over the two feeders. Anne Marie was kind enough to even bring me a pot of tea out there! And the food, oh the food! Gene is a chef and an incredibly talented one at that! He personally hand-made the four jams at the table and in the stuffed French Toast (try it with apricot, yum!), plus also made the sausage and bacon! I cannot stop thinking about the bacon, it was that good! Gene was also very prompt in responding to my inquires both before and after booking. We are so grateful to have found this wonderful, charming, welcoming B&B on the VRBO site; we will certainly stay here again!
