Description

Not your average basement. Private, locked, lower-level escape with boutique vibes. Watch movies on a 100” screen from heated, massaging recliners, unwind by the fireplace, or relax in hanging swings, space for 5. King bed with its own fireplace, full kitchen, and clean modern bath. Cozy, unique, and designed for a memorable stay.
Just minutes from the I-35 and I-80 interchange.

Welcome to your own private, lower-level escape where movie nights feel like a VIP experience, thefireplace is always setting the mood, and yes—there are swings (because why not ).
Start your evening sinking into heated theater seating in front of a 100” TV screen, drink in hand, pretending you’ll only watch one movie. (You won’t.) When it’s time to wind down, retreat to the king bed for a seriously good night’s sleep, while your guests or crew settle into the cozy additional sleeping spaces nearby.
The vibe Think boutique hotel meets cozy marsh retreat—with just the right touch of playful charm. You’ll spot subtle duck details woven into the décor (tasteful, not tacky—we promise), giving the space a personality you won’t forget.
What you’ll love:
• Private cinema setup with heated massaging recliners + 100” screen
• Fireplace ambiance that makes everything feel extra cozy
• Hanging chair swings—equal parts aesthetic + relaxing
• King bedroom + space for up to 5 guests
• Full kitchen for coffee, snacks, or staying in entirely
• A bougie marsh vibe you didn’t know you needed
Perfect for:
• Couples who want a cozy night in (but elevated)
• Small groups who appreciate a fun, memorable stay
• Anyone who chooses vibes over boring
Close enough to the West Des Moines area for convenience—far enough to actually relax.
The bottom line:
If you’re looking for basic, this isn’t it.
If you want cozy, a little bougie, and just different enough to feel special… you’ll love it here.
Come for the stay. Stay for the vibe.
