Stayed Mar 18, 2026You can always be assured of a warm welcome at the King’s Head, beautiful accommodation, fabulous food and staff that are so very kind. We also sometimes go to Fletchers House for coffee and a tempting treat! The scones are fabulous!

Stayed Dec 31, 2025Love the location and accommodation. Very comfortable room. Cleanliness is brilliant and lovely and warm, especially this time of year. Love the atmosphere of the pub, the food us amazing as are all the staff. They are very attentive, friendly and accommodating, can't do enough for you. Taylor, Amy, Amanda and Lucy are lovely professional friendly ladies and Steve the owner is a first class guy, feels like a true friend, who always joins our company and makes time for us,also a brilliant chef.

Stayed Dec 1, 2025I love the cottages there - they are spacious, beautifully designed and comfortable - what more could you want! The bar area, with its open fire, was a space I could have just stayed in for the week - and the team are friendly, efficient and welcoming. Truly a marvellous place to stay and visit and a jewel of East Sussex.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025Accommodation and staff..Hot water a plenty . Nice to sit outside the room in the heat. Shower broken ? by previous guest and replaced straight away. Nothing too much trouble. Just one comment as non smokers the neighbour smokers drove us inside one evening Could you not make the outside area non smoking as well?

Stayed Mar 9, 2025Lovely hotel rooms. Big comfy superking bed, and I liked that there was a decent arm chair with accompanying throw for the nights when you just can't sleep! Shower entrance was a bit fiddly to negotiate as a larger person but the actual shower was powerful and efficient. Might benefit from a non slip mat? Attention to decor and maintenance is clear. It was nice to have 2 outside chairs and a table allocated to each room.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Comfortable bed, plenty of space in the room for us and our little dog, food very good with excellent service. My husband was delighted with the extra help you gave him to arrange for flowers on the table as it was a special birthday
