r>The Space:
Built in 1953 by well known New Orleans architects Wess and Silverstein, the
property has been transformed to a 5 Suite, 15 room bungalow- tucked
behind brick walls and set amidst a lush garden courtyard. This unit is 2 Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms.

Keyless entry. Code sent at check-in.

The Neighborhood:
Claudia is located on St. Claude Avenue , a few blocks from Frenchmen Street, in the heart of one of
New Orleans’ favorite neighborhoods. In addition to being a unique place to sleep,
Claudia serves as a gathering place and occasional hub of community activity for
locals and visitors alike.

Getting Around:
Easy to navigate on foot or bike. Street Car access at St Claude just across the street. Lyft/Uber/Cab always convenient.
New Orleans offers a Bike Share Program, Blue Bike, with stations located throughout

Other Things to Note:
- There is a 3% charge on bookings made through home away & our website to cover payment processing fees that cannot be returned in the event a cancellation is necessary.
- Our property is located directly next to a residential neighborhood. We are required to enforce the city’s noise ordinance which does not permit excessive noise outside after 10PM.
- We cannot accommodate bachelorette/ bachelor parties or anything similar. No Parties, Events, Smoking or Pets. Cannot invite guests to the property that are not part of the booking reservation.
- Check-In time is 3:00 PM and Check Out-Time is 11:00 AM.
- Pricing fluctuates daily.

    We rented this two-bedroom unit along with Unit 5 next door, and it was the perfect setup for our group. Having both spaces made it easy for everyone to spread out while still feeling connected. The smaller unit is just as beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spotless as the larger one. Craig was such a thoughtful and responsive host. He made the entire process seamless, from helping coordinate both rentals to sharing great local recommendations. His communication and attention to detail made everything so easy. The layout of this unit worked perfectly for two people or a small group. The bedrooms were spacious and quiet, the beds were super comfortable, and everything felt clean and well cared for. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the living area was a great place to unwind at the end of the day. Even my parents — who are usually skeptical of rentals and prefer hotels — absolutely loved it. The location is ideal: walkable to the French Quarter and nearby restaurants and bars, with a taco spot just up the street. It’s also a quick and inexpensive ride anywhere you want to go, including the airport. I would absolutely stay here again. Whether you rent this unit on its own or pair it with one of Craig’s other rentals in the building, you’ll have a perfect home base for your New Orleans trip.

    Great easy walking distance to Frenchman and bourbon street areas. Area might seem to be run down a bit but still recovery mode everyone was friendly.This place is an oasis Would definitely come back

    The place was great. Very clean, well maintained. The only knock would be the area around the place was a little on the sketchy side but we never had any troubles. Communication with the manager was alright, some of the emails had questions from myself but were never responded to. Other than that it was a great time in the city and was very close in terms of walking distance to the French quarter.
