This is a beautiful property and building. Gisella is a kind and amazing host and the food is some of the best we have had in our travels. Our stay here was so restful and it is a wonderful way to recharge. I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone needing to unwind and recharge a bit. We will certainly be back for another stay next time we are in the area.

Of all our travels around many parts of Costa Rica over several weeks, this has been one of our absolute favorite places. Adriana is one of the sweetest, most humble and charming people on the planet. The house is beautiful- it is a rustic house built in 1930 with a breath taking view, and has been renovated and comfortable. The house was sparking clean, and is surrounded by hydrangeas and trees filled with hummingbirds. A walking trail starts just out the back door and takes you through an amazing forest, crossing the river and ends at the barn. Cows, horses, chickens and a hilarious turkey roam the property. A guided horse tour is available through the expansive property and had wonderful views of the valley. But perhaps the best part was Adriana, one of the owners and chef extraordinaire. She cooked absolutely delicious breakfasts and dinners for us each day using foods from right there on the farm. Some of the best and freshest food I’ve ever had. We can only hope we will be able to return one day!!!
