We are located at 500 North Street. The Bear's Den has a southern, street view. However, there is an outdoor deck with a spectacular view of the Mississippi River and our double-lot, flower garden. This room provides a Tempurpedic, King-sized mattress + a fold-out child's bed (children under 6-years - stay FREE!). The bathroom was added in 1920; it has all new plumbing; and is surfaced with original tile on the floor and in the shower. (The hot tub is only available to Penthouse guests on the

Stayed Sep 5, 2025We very enjoyed our stay at this a uniques, clean property, the hosts are pleasant, we had enjoable conversations with hosts and the breakfast was excellent. Location are very conveinent it direct into downtown area. Hosts refered us some restaurant that were very good, we think without they told us, we would not able to find such good food.

Stayed Oct 24, 2025We were thrilled with the quiet, comfortable, spacious room. It was great for sleeping and for reading. The house and property are beautiful and fascinating historically and architecturally. The hosts were incredibly kind and even helped us out with a car issue. Breakfasts were generous and delicious--quiche, coffee cake, fruit salad, etc. We had a great time and were well pleased.

Stayed Jul 25, 2025We could not have picked a better place to stay. Location was close to the events we attended downtown. Conversations at breakfast with the hosts were very enjoyable. Breakfasts were excellent and the room and bed were very comfortable. Thank you for the wonderful weekend getaway.

Stayed Oct 18, 2024Inez was A-Mazing!!! She was so sweet and kind and made us feel at home immediately. On our last day our departure time was moved up unexpectedly and her and David still made us breakfast even tho it was an hour earlier than originally planned. The food was delicious!wa son loved egg

Stayed May 3, 2024This inn is located on a beautiful river bluff overlooking the Mississippi River in Burlington. The inn was all we needed and more. Our host was thoughtful and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, complete with a Tempur-pedic bed. Our breakfast were healthy and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay.
