Along the water B&B Ardennes Belges + equestrian welcome

The hosts were very quick to respond to my questions and were even there flagging us down on the street to help us find it! They even helped us by bringing our dinner cash to the restaurant down the street since the restaurant didn’t take cards. The stay was so peaceful and after visiting Bostogne (about a 10 minute drive away) we were so thankful we stayed here where it was quiet. They had an amazing veranda which would have been so great to enjoy our breakfast on (but was a bit cold in the winter). Note that there are stairs so ensure if you book you can walk up stairs. Breakfast was a great spread of charcuterie and jams and even our favorite whipped honey which we enjoyed on toast. We would absolutely stay there again and especially in the summer when we could enjoy sitting outside enjoying a peaceful breakfast on the veranda.

The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating! The location was perfect for exploring World War II sites. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

It was wonderful! Isabelle and Michel were so very nice and welcoming. Great location and the set up was very comfortable. We were sad to leave but needed to continue our trip. Would stay there again! Absolutely!

Great host n hostess

Wonderful Gite, nicely appointed and comfortable, perfect for an extended weekend getaway. Centrally located to various POIs, WWII Bastogne, Arlon, Bouillon, Liege ...etc. A lot of bike route options for bicycle enthusiasts. There’s a great ‘lil local restaurant (le 326, say “hello” to Phil) within an easy 3-4 minute walk from the Gite with considerable more dining, cafe options in the village of Houffalize, about 10 minutes by car. Michel and Isabelle are very kind, attentive and generous hosts. The morning breakfast offers a great variety of delicious breakfast items in a cozy breakfast room w/option for outdoor alfresco eating, if preferred. The upstairs terrace is particularly nice for taking a relaxing, evening drink while looking out onto the lovely garden. Timely online communication w/hosts prior to our arrival, this wonderful gite offers off street parking and the absolutely sweetest dogs & precious cat. We very much enjoyed our 4-night stay and look forward to our return.

Isabelle and Michelle were wonderful and their home is beautiful!

We’ve used VRBO many times, but this has to be among our favourites places. Isabelle and Michele are so welcoming and friendly. They have a century home on a gorgeous piece of property. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a beautiful patio to look over the gardens. Breakfasts were amazing!!! The location is perfect for exploring the Bastonge area, which is about 15 minutes away, or a beautiful drive to Luxembuorg or Brussels. Thank you so much Isabelle and Michele for a wonderful stay!

It is a lovely apartment with lots of small details, nice surrounding and attentive hosts. We had a good time, there!
