Stayed Jul 3, 2020Wonderful Gite, nicely appointed and comfortable, perfect for an extended weekend getaway. Centrally located to various POIs, WWII Bastogne, Arlon, Bouillon, Liege ...etc. A lot of bike route options for bicycle enthusiasts. There’s a great ‘lil local restaurant (le 326, say “hello” to Phil) within an easy 3-4 minute walk from the Gite with considerable more dining, cafe options in the village of Houffalize, about 10 minutes by car. Michel and Isabelle are very kind, attentive and generous hosts. The morning breakfast offers a great variety of delicious breakfast items in a cozy breakfast room w/option for outdoor alfresco eating, if preferred. The upstairs terrace is particularly nice for taking a relaxing, evening drink while looking out onto the lovely garden. Timely online communication w/hosts prior to our arrival, this wonderful gite offers off street parking and the absolutely sweetest dogs & precious cat. We very much enjoyed our 4-night stay and look forward to our return.

Stayed May 26, 2019We’ve used VRBO many times, but this has to be among our favourites places. Isabelle and Michele are so welcoming and friendly. They have a century home on a gorgeous piece of property. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a beautiful patio to look over the gardens. Breakfasts were amazing!!! The location is perfect for exploring the Bastonge area, which is about 15 minutes away, or a beautiful drive to Luxembuorg or Brussels. Thank you so much Isabelle and Michele for a wonderful stay!
