When we arrived we found towels left laying in the bath unfolded and was uncertain if cleaned. One bed had covers pulled back as if indicating it was not changed. House needed much better cleaning as there was dust, dog hairs and cobwebs in each room which was dissapointing to find in such a nice house. House was very pet friendly and garden well fenced in. The area was purfect for exploring the coast and local villages. We found some great dog walks around the village. The house had very tight and steep stairs not ideal for young children or older folk. However we enjoyed our stay and with a few improvements it could be a perfect place to stay!

This is a delightful quirky cottage. Very old with wooden floors and furnished with a great mix of eclectic furniture mixing vintage,mid-century and modern. Electric heaters warmed the whole cottage up quickly so it was soon cozy. Secure garden for our dogs. Good location for visits to our favourite beaches and pubs. Village pub was lovely and old and welcoming. Good home cooking. A special thanks to the owner of the cottage whom we had to ring on first night due to an issue which was us, rather than anything wrong with the cottage. She was really helpful and problem solved quickly. This is a great homely cottage with a friendly vibe. Our dogs settled immediately and that’s always a good sign. Many thanks.
