Stayed Jul 2, 2025It was absolutely beautiful! The view from our window was magnificent, and the cave was so wonderful. The host is incredibly helpful and made our stay perfect. Every morning, we were greeted by little kittens at our doorstep. If you are going to Santorini you should definitely stay here.

Stayed Jun 24, 2022We were in love with this cute little cave! The view was just breathtaking. Our host was fantastic, set us up with transportation, porters to bring our luggage down, and even booked an incredible boat tour for us. The place was also super clean and plenty of room for the four us. I would 100% stay here again and I would recommend to anyone as well. Just a short walk to all the cute shops and eateries. And again the views alone... WOW.

Stayed May 4, 2019We had a very good experience with Caterina and her team who dealt very kindly with the special needs that now accompany our advancing age. We were very happy in our assigned house which was spotless, well equipped and had a beautiful view.

Stayed Mar 18, 2018We chose the White Cavehouse because it is unique. As the name implies, the home is cared into the cliff in Oia and is very charming. The home is comfortable and well maintained. Because it is a cave, it can be a bit damp and cold at times but they have a dehumidifier and heaters to ensure comfort. The walk down and back up is challenging, 200 steps each way, but the porter makes it a breeze for luggage. You are right in the middle of the most beautiful spot on Santorini and steps from one of the iconic, and highly photographed, blue domes churches. I highly recommend this home.

Stayed Jul 9, 2017We had a fantastic stay in The White cave house in Oia! The views are the most incredible I have ever seen! There were three of us staying and there was plenty of room, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and the location was amazing, as it was close to everything in Oia! We walked easily to shops, restaurants, and markets. It was easy to catch the bus as well when heading to Fira. We were recommended a boat tour on Sunst Oia! It was fantastic! We swam in the hot springs, and had a delicious souvlaki/wine dinner. We also had dinner very close to our house in a restaurant called Pelikanos. Great food, wine, and an incredible sunset view! There are many steep steps walking down to the cave house, so good knees are a must!

Stayed Apr 9, 2017Our family (3 adults) spent 3 wonderful days in April in Oia. Fanis's & Tina's cave house is a little gem. Staying there was a special opportunity for us to imagine old Santorini. The house really is a cave! But, it has been beautifully updated and is light & bright & has comfortable beds with duvets, lots of hot water, lots of room inside for dining & relaxing & a lovely woman who tidied up after us every day! Outside the house is postcard perfect with a huge pink-flowering bougainvillea, a nice little terrace & a spectacular view of the Oia's buildings tumbling down the cliffs towards the turquoise sea. The stairs to & from the pedestrian-only main street are very steep - but the views make it worthwhile (and it discourages the picture-snapping tourists). Moreover, T & F arranged for Alex to meet us & carry our bags to the house! Oia is a tourist town & must contend with Santorini's cruise ship traffic, but it does it very nicely. (Much, much nicer than Fira in our opinion.) There are t-shirt & souvenir shops, but they are outnumbered by Oia's countless unique restaurants, coffee bars & shops. Also, there is a good grocery store a short walk away from the house with everything you need. (We like to cook. The cooker in the house is serviceable. We would have liked a cutting board, a sharp knife & a few more pots.) Overall, it's hard to imagine anything better. Cheers. Suzanne, Jim & Helena.
