Stayed Dec 4, 2025Nice hosts. The bed sagged and was sooo uncomfortable. The bathroom towels were a bit frayed and uncomfortable. They left used soap bars in the shower.

Stayed Sep 6, 2025The location is great as the waterfront area close to restaurants and parks is within a short walking distance. There is also a great view of the bay during sunsets. The garbage and recycling disposal process was a little confusing, could not figure out where to put mixed paper, but not a big deal. Owners were very responsive.Wish there was a quiet time rule for everyone staying in the home after 10:30 pm as the thin walls meant we were kept up until the wee hours of the morning due to noisy guests downstairs.

Stayed Sep 1, 2025Our stay at was pure magic. The home is romantic, charming, and perfectly located—we walked into town each day, enjoying the boutiques, cafés, and harbor views. Biking to Shelter Island was a highlight, with stunning scenery and a sense of timeless beauty. Evenings back at the house were just as special, whether relaxing with wine on the porch or watching the sunset. This wasn’t just a trip—it was an unforgettable experience filled with love, serenity, and simple elegance.

Stayed Aug 7, 2025The place was very cute but definitely old. Obviously it was historic but there were some things that could’ve been repaired or replaced for sure. I know there weee many 10/10 but for us this was more like a 5/10. We arrived later than checkin time so went up the back staircase which is pretty sketchy and a bit scary really. The view was nice. One of the kitchen screens had a decent size hole in it. So, bugs. The kitchen soap and sponge were previously used. There were two window air conditioners, not turned on so the place was relatively warm when we got there, but it did cool down quickly. Once we turned them on high it would’ve been nice to know some local convenience, stores or groceries and what their hours were when we arrived so we could at least obtain water and some minor necessities. Due to the age of the building, there was the musty mildew scent which would’ve been easily corrected with a little bit of air freshener. The bedding was actually very soft and clean the door to the armoire did not stay closed. It was difficult to use Netflix because there is a family saved on there and we were unable to add hours so we only got to use the television one night. The bathroom probably had the biggest issues there was used shampoo and conditioner bottles in there a used bar of soap. The shower curtains were stained and the hooks from which they hang were pretty rusty. The toothbrush holder was coming off the wall.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024Charming, curated, and peaceful is how I would describe this property. It’s quaint, quiet, lovely and had everything I needed. The host is very knowledgeable about the area and wish I could’ve learned more. I hope I get the chance to stay again!

Stayed Aug 5, 2024We stayed in a cozy apartment in the rear of the second floor. The apartment had a living room, bedroom with a small closet-sized sitting room next to it, functional kitchen (which we really didn't use) and a deck off the kitchen overlooking the grounds and water behind the house. Loved the layout! Paris is a welcoming host and lives on premises. The house and furnishings are nice, but all are quite old (there's antique, and then there's old), and in need of upkeep (for example, there were holes in a couch pillow and the kitchen towel, there was one teaspoon, and the kitchen sponge smelled...stupid and nit-picky, I know, but just saying, expect no-frills). Still good accommodations for the price in this area. The house is situated in a very nice neighborhood within a 15 minute walk of the lovely stores and restaurants of the Village of Sag Harbor and a short drive to East Hampton and Amagansett. We thoroughly enjoyed a play at the Bay Street Theater (just short of a Broadway production). All in all, this accommodation served us well and we would come back.
