West Portal Studio, Ocean View and Convenient!

The hosts, Stuart and Haiyan, were very friendly and accommodating. Property was close to West Portal neighborhood and public transportation that takes you all over San Francisco.

The backyard was beautiful. The convenience was walking distance to West Portal and to the church at the top of the hill. We needed a clean and quite place to stay. It was great for our needs.

The hosts anticipated every need for a perfect stay in a cheerful, nicely sized, and well-appointed unit. The backyard was a splendid spot to start the morning. We enjoyed the walk to West Portal and the shops and restaurants as well as the ease of riding the train to downtown. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay in SF! Communication was excellent from Stuart from the start. The studio had all that we needed and was very comfortable. Highly recommend!!

The rental space was clean and well appointed - a comfortable bed with extra pillows and blankets, a space heater, bathroom with the basics including a generous supply of towels, and a nice kitchen with appliances and utensils enough to make a simple breakfast or warm up left overs. Stuart was a welcoming host who was responsive to any questions or requests. The location could not be better. We would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location is close to the train station for easy access to this wonderful city. The place was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely come back!

This place was perfect for my husband and I while we were visiting friends who live in the neighborhood. It was quiet, easy to get into from the street, and had a full-sized kitchen. It really feels like its own apartment! The big window next to the bed that looks out to the bay is great too. Stuart was very nice and said hello when we visited his beautiful back garden for a few minutes. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m visiting my friends.

So easy to park on street. Beautiful neighborhood, easy walk to excellent restaurants and public transportation. Communication was excellent and timely. Very nice accommodations, many extras included. Very quiet. I highly recommend this studio!

We were in town for family business, and Stuart could not have been kinder or more accommodating, from the in-person check-in to the late checkout. Hotel-quality amenities in a friendly home setting. They’ve really thought of everything!

We have stayed here several times before. Stuart has every thoughtful detail provided. The suite is large and bright. The kitchen has all one needs. Coffee is provided as well as selzers. This is our favorite place to stay when we visit our son and his family. Thank you for your efforts, Stuart !

This place was perfect! I spent two weeks recovering from surgery. It's located close to public transit to go wherever you need. It's in a quiet, safe neighborhood and the host family was so kind and accommodating! Can't say enough good things!

I had the pleasure of staying in this cozy studio tucked away in the West Portal neighborhood. Great restaurants and public transit within walking distance made for a great weekend!

We loved the location of this property. The owner Stuart was very friendly and was very helpful with getting us settled. The bed was very comfortable, and the little studio had everything you need for your stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots pans, plates, cups, utensils, etc. The location is great I'm West Portal. Just a short walk to tons of restaurants. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Stuart and family are the sort of hosts who make the VRBO experience satisfying and worthwhile…helpful, personable, and engaging but never intrusive. The studio is spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with easy access and thoughtful amenities. Surrounding neighborhoods, off the tourist map, are safe and walkable, and in an area of The City very much worth exploring. Nearby West Portal village offers a wealth of very good restaurants with varied cuisine and average pricing catering mostly to locals. The West Portal Metro station has regular train service every few minutes for easy transportation to and from downtown San Francisco and then to just about any place beyond. This is truly a wonderful place to temporarily call home.

This is a studio with every detail perfectly attended to. It feel like a big space, nice kitchen, seltzer and coffee available. I can’t think of anything that could be improved upon. You’ll enjoy your stay and we will be back !

The hosts are on site & very accommodating. Super friendly & clean. The backyard is stunning! Great neighborhood. Very close to excellent restaurants, bars & shopping. Yet tucked away in a quiet residential section.

Charming studio with all you could ask for! We lacked for nothing. Great neighborhood with a big variety of shops and services. It even includes a view of the ocean. The Hosts are Superhosts and are so friendly and kind. They went above and beyond to make our stay a grand memory.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this well-situated, very clean property in a safe neighborhood. It had easy parking on the street directly in front of the home, with a separate, off the street entrance. The host was responsive to the few questions we had, and went out of the way to find a restaurant open when we arrived on Thanksgiving day. Everything needed was in the unit, including a toothbrush my husband forgot to pack! Definitely recommend. It's an easy walk into West Portal with dining options, including an excellent bakery that should not be missed: Noe Valley Bakery!

Good location

Nice and clean. Simple kitchen works well if you don’t need to cook only basics. Lovely neighborhood. We like location because very near our daughter’s residence. Very kind, friendly owner.
