What a lovely little cottage! It was perfect for two adults with pets. It was super cute, comfortable, in a very quiet neighborhood and was easy to get to downtown and restaurants. The host was very responsive. We will definitely return!

House was well stocked and roomy enough for my husband, myself and our dog. My daughter even came over from UNCW and stayed one night one the pull out sofa. Very easy walk to downtown. We would definitely stay there again.

Sweet little house with lots of extras: thank you for full bottles of water, shampoo and conditioner. And snacks. Very clean and comfortable with 2 large bathrooms and a new washer/dryer (detergent provided). The queen bed is comfortable with lots of new pillows. The sofa bed is...well...a sofa bed so those are never too comfortable (thin mattress). The vintage toy cabinet was AMAZING and waking up to lively church singers on Sunday was actually pretty cool and not annoying.

We enjoyed our stay in this very comfy house but unfortunately we were disappointed by several cooking utensils not being clean that were found that way in the drawers when we got there, the dishwasher not being secured to the counter (unsafe for children, those who aren’t fully able-bodied, etc), and the toilet paper was honestly painful. I’m sure costs for consumable goods like that are always hard to juggle, and I noticed it was also septic safe, so if that is necessary maybe angel soft would be a little better. It was also nice that there were enough rugs that I could move them around to make it easier for our elderly dog to get around on the tile/hardwood which is always too slippery for him. The latch on the gate is also getting a little old and may need tightened. Overall, beautiful house, loved the privacy and location, we will keep this property in mind for our next Wilmington trip. Sadly, it looked like a previous guest left a cigarette butt in a potted plant out front which I thought was rude and gross so I threw that out but maybe cheap ashtrays outside would discourage that.

The house itself is fantastic. Well appointed and charming. Newly redone bathrooms and kitchen and enough space to feel cozy without feeling cramped. Check in and out was easy. Being dog friendly is a huge plus (our Aussie was very comfortable). The host also left a small assortment of snacks, bottled water, and provides all necessary linens as well as soaps/shampoos/and other sundries. We’d give this 4.75 stars - getting a small ding only because the neighborhood is just a bit run down - but being centrally located makes up for this! We would absolutely stay again (and likely will with our daughter a new Seahawk at UNCW).

House is nice oasis in a bit of a rough area. Church next door is boarded up which made us nervous at first but community was safe. Location was great. House had everything we needed and great fenced yard for dog.

One of the nicest VRBO places I have ever seen, set up the way you would if you actually lived there. Great kitchen, nice decor, great porch and deck - too hot to spend much time outside while I was in town but outside spaces would be lovely in Fall or Spring. Fenced areas great for taking dogs out and short drive to Greenfield Lake for longer walks.

It was perfect for two. Well appointed, and everything worked. Parking on-street is usually available. Wed and Sat evening and Sun morn church services next door, fill up street parking, so if you return during the service, you will need to walk a little. We just moved the car closer when they left. We would definitely rent this cottage again.

Nice little house, just right for us. Some of the decor was very cool, I’m a stereo guy and the stereo there was very cool, antique and sounded great! Maybe would have put some salt and pepper exc. Not a bad walk to the river either.
