Thick dust on top of the very small clothing rack with broken plastic hangers. There were not enough to hand up all our cloths. The small mini split system did not cool the room. Even set at its lowest of 68 degrees ( there’s a sign warning not to lower than that). We had to sleep with the balcony door open to make the room temperature tolerable. NO PARKING for the unit we were in. But parking for others. No paid lots were available as the checking in described said, and the free lot was always full. We had a lot of difficulty with parking near the VRBO. Be prepared to hike a long ways with your suitcase. On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable but the pillows are super old and flat. The bathroom is decent size, free beach chairs are in the room and beach towels. There is no divider on the shared balcony so no privacy. Though the view of the bay was very nice. Loved having my morning coffee there. The adjacent renters that came in after us had 2 loud kids that we had to kindly ask to stop screaming and yelling at night. Wouldn’t stay again on that property.

Management was great… place was small for us but we made it work. Place was clean but storage was an, issue…need a closet not wooden shelf for clothes…and some hooks for hanging jackets and towels etc.

Could use more space to store or hang clothes

Great location! The view of the sailboats every morning was our favorite part of the stay.

Great location in Mission Beach and also close to Pacific Beach. We loved staying on the Bay side- very nice and quiet. Close walk to beaches and restaurants. Easy parking in the public parking lot, which was about 2 blocks away. We lived the balcony and watching the college crew team in the morning out there practicing. 2 complaints- one was that the bathroom smelled like urine the whole time. It’s clean; however this smell was off putting and made it feel dirty. The other is that the dryer didn’t work. We visited during a rare heavy rain event and got soaked through, and tried to dry our clothes bunt couldn’t get it to work.

View was amazing- this place has everything you need.

The studio unit was great and had a wonderful view of Mission Bay! It was less than a 10min walk to the Pacific Beach and the city bus route runs right along Mission Blvd making it easy and affordable to get many touristsy spots. The air-conditioning works very good and the bed was really soft and comfortable. There's a lot of walking, biking, and rollerblading on the walkway, but it didn't bother us at all.

Perfect location. Clean room with a very comfortable bed. Parking was difficult on the busy weekend, weekdays were no issue. Would stay here again.

Beautiful view of the Bay Area from the window and it’s the perfect location to walk around with plenty of restaurant options and the beach close by. My only complaint is that there was no parking at all when we showed up. No street or paid parking available. The only parking we could find had a 5 hour limit. We came on a weekend when it had dropped into the 70s from consistently being in the 80s so that was probably why. If we had not gotten extremely lucky (after circling around for 30 minutes) and found some lady who was leaving her spot we wouldn’t have had any parking for our car at all.

Room was smaller than we expected. Pictures are deceiving. Location was great. Loved being on the less busy Bay side. Overall it was great and we will definitely be returning.

Great location with easy access to the beach, bars and restaurants.

The unit is in a great location. I wanted to do water sports and it’s only a 5 minute walk to rent kayaks, paddle boards etc in the bay. I think it’s a pretty good value considering the location to everything which is very walkable. If you are traveling with a partner, it might be a little tight space wise for more than a few days. If you’re solo it’s a pretty great option.

Absolutely loved this rental. You can’t beat the location. I didn’t have any issue with parking. Their team was very responsive if any issues came up. The bed was so comfy and I’m kind of a bed snob. (Lol) There were times I didn’t even want to leave the room. Absolutely loved my stay here. I’ll 1000 % be back. It’s a perfect getaway spot for couple or solo traveler. If you’re thinking about staying, do it. You won’t regret it.

Great location on the bay with balcony to enjoy sunrise. Only 2 blocks from the pacific boardwalk. Comfortable accommodations for sleeping.( A few small details could have improved the experience. Kitchen disposal jammed, shower leaked on floor a bit, bathroom sink fills up and doesn’t drain properly, toilet paper roll slides off holder onto floor.) As parking is not included it is suggested to street park on Mission Blvd. The paid public parking lot is exorbitantly expensive- However! We found a free lot a short walk south down the bay walkway at El Carmel St. for day and overnight Perfect! We had a great week there. And would recommend.

We arrived a bit early on the first day, to kind of scope out the area. Once in the VRBO unit, we were happy to see how clean the unit was. Cleaning products left quite a strong odor inside, so we opened the windows and left for a bit. My girlfriend was very excited about the unit and the location and some sun. About 1 hour after arriving at the unit, we heard some loud noises coming from downstairs. I went down to see what was going on and texted Surf Style and was told that there had been a leak and some water damage in the unit directly below us. The construction noise went on until 5:00 PM. The contractor stated that they were done and had one more day the following Monday and Surf Style stated that there wouldn't be any more noise other than some painting on Monday. This was upsetting to us because we paid a lot of money for the 4 nights and was expecting a very nice and quiet stay, especially from construction noise within the building itself. The other issue we had was with the refrigerator. We bought some nice food for our stay. The refrigerator part was not very cold and the freezer part, well our ice cream melted. This was upsetting as well. I texted Surf Style and got a message back to adjust the temperature. I looked at the temp adjustment and it wasn't clear how to adjust it. Either way, some of our food didn't survive. It didn't seem to be any big deal to Surf Style, which again was upsetting.

Enjoyed the calm on the bay side. Sunrises were nice to see.Lots of restaurants within walking distance

You couldn't ask for a better studio apartment. The room is large and comfortable. But the view out to the bay is wonderful. You get to see the sailboats and the crew boats practicing on the water. Not to mention the sunrise! One block away is the bus line. Go north a few blocks and get a great breakfast or lunch at Olive. Definitely a great place to stay.

Our place was exactly what I was looking for. I nice place to stay, clean and comfy. Great shops, bars and restaurants within 10 minute walk in either direction of the boardwalk.

Overall it was very enjoyable. Wonderful view and great location. Should be advertised that there is no parking at the accommodation. You have to find parking on a nearby street which can be challenging. The listing says it is 1 bedroom but in reality it is a studio suite. Feel the bathroom needs a refresh. It looked old and needed more hooks to hang towels etc.. Again overall the stay was enjoyable.

The unit, cleanliness, and location were perfect for our little getaway. It was just as advertised. The mattress was very comfortable. Our unit didn't have a parking spot but we found a spot just down the block.

Nice having a full kitchen and great location close to the beach and 1 mile walk to grocery store. Short walk for tacos, coffee etc. Enjoyed the beach chairs and access to washer and dryee.

great location; parking never an issue; management team very responsive when contacted about issues with coffee maker & TV and fixed in timely manner. We really enjoyed our oceanside walks every am

Bay side is quiet with beautiful views. The sunrises are amazing. Many restaurants within walking distance. If you’re looking to people watch two blocks over to the ocean side. Enjoyed the comfy bed and deck to watch the wildlife and others enjoying the water. Would stay again
