Nest heater controller is incomprehensible and difficult to use.

When we arrived at 3pm the flat had not been cleaned or changed the beds. There wouldn’t have been enough plates if six people were staying in the flat. The grouting in the bathroom needs a good clean/replacing. The flat itself was in a great location with plenty of restaurants and eateries close by. Great view from the bedrooms of the castle.

The photos of this place are a bit outdated, the place has a great location but be ready to hear a lot of street noise. It was busy and if you have the windows open it sounds like people are in your room. The Sofa Bed is actually a futon, and it is very uncomfortable just to sit on. The kitchen chairs are older and the cousions are falling apart.

This flat was the perfect location for exploring Edinburgh while we only had a few days in town. It fit our family of 5 comfortably (one on the couch bed) and had everything we needed for our stay.

Loved the location of this property. Easy walk to Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, Princes Street bus line (took from the airport), Victoria Street and all the pubs, shopping, outdoor markets and other local attractions. Only downside was street noise as we had some rowdy post-pub neighbors during our stay.

The location was fantastic but that was the only highlight. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the shower was not hot enough for a decent shower, the shower leaked on the floor. the floors were uneven and noisy. At midnight the Carbon Monoxide alarm went off, it was not a battery issue. The person on the phone said take out the battery and that’s all she could do. We were unable to work the thermostat. The Linen was stained

This place would be great if they refurnished it with comfortable bedding and living room furniture. We paid extra for a 6 th person that had to sleep on a very small and hard futon bed and were not left with any bedding for it. There was major construction literally right out the front door and out the back that we were not told about before booking and arriving. The refrigerators door would not stay closed and had to push a chair against it to keep it closed. If you want a place that has the cheapest furniture, beds and bedding not enough towels and construction out your front door this is the place.

Very disappointed at the noise. We should have been informed that there was major construction going on in both the front and the back of the property. It woke us up extremely early (starting at 6:30 am)! We registered as a party of 5, but there was not enough towels for everyone and there was absolutely no toiletries. The beds and pillows were awful. We’ve stayed in 3 different vrbo’s on this European vacation, and this was by far the most disappointing. Not much care or thought for the traveler was put into this location. I look forward to hearing how much I will be refunded for this very uncomfortable stay.
