Great location, everything we needed was available

Allison’s place didn’t feel like a vacation rental - it felt like home. And, it was the cutest property in a great neighborhood. 10/10 will return.

We have rented this property several times over the past 6-7 years. It is always delightful.

It was a wonderful place to stay. The amenities were 100%. It was very clean. It was winter and we left a day early due to an incoming blizzard. We would love to come back in the summer/fall. We highly recommend.

It was an absolutely perfect, really felt like home. A really nice fenced in back yard for are pet and a totally equipped kitchen.

The home was spotless, warm, inviting and had everything we needed and more! It was pet-friendly and the owner's dog Chook and our Irish Doodle, Sweat Pea are best of friends now. They had a ball playing together in the very nicely fenced in back yard. Alison was a wonderful host!

The home was absolutely perfect! Would definitely stay here again. Although we didn't use the kitchen, it was well stocked and had everything anyone would need. Loved how close it was to walk to 3rd Street. The bed was very comfortable. Great host!

Extremely clean, very comfortable, very quiet, Hostess thought of everything needed, very informative of things to do locally and was very easy to get a hold of her if needed. We would love to come back again. The location is very close to downtown, extremely easy to get around town.

We had an amazing time in Marquette! Our dogs joined us on a 15-mile hike and we also biked 20 miles around the town. The location was ideal and we can't wait to return. We enjoyed beers at Blackrocks Brewery and delicious food at Digs. Already planning our next trip!

My husband and I both agreed that this is truly the best VRBO we have ever rented. Super comfortable, clean, amazing bed, stocked with all that we needed. Very close to everything as far as shopping, dining, grocery stores, hiking...and that phenomenal Lake! Allison is truly a wonderful host. Very friendly and always available for anything that we may have needed.We are keeping this one on our list!

It was in a perfect location and everything was great. Allison responded to questions quickly and was a great hostess. I just love the setup and would totally buy this house if she wanted to sell! Absolutely everything I needed and wanted.

This is a great location - central to everything. Very very clean, open, spacey, easy peazy. We will definitley choose this again on future visits. Didn’t have any issues or need to reach out to the owner. Leaving procedures were very simple. Oh- and the bed was VERY comfortable!

Beautiful home and yard. Loved how close to Contrast, 3rd street bagel and NMU, great location. My daughter is an NMU student and we stayed to help her move out of her dorm. I can't recommend this home enough, especially if you have a good travel dog like me. It was so nice to have a place to take my fur baby with us.

This was our First VRBO stay so we didn't know what to expect. The place was easy to get to and on the first floor. I loved the shower head! Normally I have to duck to get under a shower head when staying somewhere. They entire layout of the space was really good. The only thing that I would change would be to put a corner toilet and corner sink in the bathroom. My knees were hitting the sink while sitting down and it was too close to the wall. Other than that, this was a great place to stay!

This place was great. Close to everything downtown yet no traffic and very quiet. The host was great and had everything in order. I would highly recommend this place especially if you have dogs.

I had a wonderful stay with my daughter and our pups. Allison was so gracious and kind to allow me to bring my dogs to visit my college kid. It was such a cozy place!

Overall our stay was alright -nothing special. We loved our time in Marquette (our first time to the UP!), but we didn't know the owner lives upstairs. She was delightful, very nice and quiet (a bit loud the second evening, it did keep us up). If you didn't realize, like us, the property owner lives upstairs. It did make us feel a bit awkward, like we were intruding her home. We felt as though it was not properly disclosed and were even told by the Vrbo agent that he could not find anywhere on the property listing that the owner lives at the property. Looking back, we probably would NOT have booked this. Not to be rude but we went on vacation to Marquette to be ALONE. Not share a room with the host. I should also add, the home was very nice, clean, and very accessible. The bedroom seemed to be an old office space and the bed hurt my back so bad, boyfriend said he slept fine but I had to take an edible to be able to sleep through half the night.

We went for Thanksgiving to see my daughter who lives in Marquette. Close to everything and just loved the atmosphere.

We were up to scoop up our college student for Thanksgiving break. The location was perfect and even close to walk to the local brewery. Pet friendly which is always a plus for us. Will definitely rent there again

Warm and comfortable. Good proximity to shopping, restaurants, breweries. Especially loved that Allison provided bikes which we rode to Marquette s Presque Isle Park.

It was just right for 2 people. The owner lives above but was very kind. I’m not a fan of buddying up to host but this one was totally cool.

My husband and I had an incredible week-long stay in Marquette for our honeymoon. Upon arrival we saw Allison in the shared outdoor patio and she was the best host. From great conversation to letting us borrow her bikes to great recommendations for what to do around town, Allison had the best Midwest hospitality. The house was perfect for us. We were able to cook when we wanted to as the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved enjoying the shared outdoor patio. We will be staying here again next time we visit Marquette!

This was the perfect place for us to stay and relax. We even got our dog fix with our host sharing her dog

The bathroom was very small, if you are over 5'4 this bathroom will pose challenges. The bedroom is also small but able to accommodate a queen bed. The living room furniture is very worn. The host was very nice and location is very walkable. The house just didn't meet our needs or expectations but we did make it work.

The property was as advertised- very clean and charming. It was a great location to acess the downtown area. So much better than staying out on the highway in a hoteldowntown area. So much bett

We had a delightful stay at this property. Home was super clean and well maintained. Property owner lives upstairs and has taken such pride in her home . Allison, the owner, was available if needed. She is very gracious and answered any questions we had while we enjoyed visiting with her in the lovely the outdoor space. Will definitely recommend this property.

My husband and I really enjoyed the apartment, which was on the ground level. (The owner lives upstairs.) the living room, dining room and kitchen were spacious! The bed was very comfortable, which is surprising when you rent an apartment. We hiked around Marquette , had excellent dining experiences, and townsfolk were very nice. The house has a beautiful patio out back, but we were so busy we didn’t spend time there. I wish we would have stayed in Marquette longer! I would highly recommend this property and Marquette.

We enjoyed our stay with our dog. Fenced in yard and owners dog played with our dog they had fun. Easy walking distance and biking to trails. Only a few blocks from brewery and restaurants. Will definitely stay again.
