    Beautifully appointed and located in the chic central west end, the property is close to the famous Forest Park! The wine Bistro across the street charms as do the local art galleries and food scene. What a delight to be here as we discovered St Louis beyond the Arch:)

    I arrived at the property and I cannot explain how dirty it was. Only showing picture to make you disgusting the property was at our arrival. Next day after i sent the pictures they send a cleaner right way but my wife was very dissapointed already. I received a call from the owner and he told me he would give me a credit but I received $77.00 after spend 10 days at the property. Looks like they took only the cleaning fee for one day and did not cared about us. I left the property 2 days earlier and they told me they will credit back for those days but they never did. Unfortunately i have to write this review in order to show my frustration.

    Everything was seamless and the property was very nice and clean. I am not sure what the vineyard reference is, as I did not visit one, but everything about the CWE property was great. Thank you!

    The location was very good and the decor was decent. However the state of the couch was unacceptable. There was only a couch in the sitting area and it was shredded. I cannot understand how a property could be rented in this condition. We were very disappointed. Additionally several light bulbs were burned out and there were no instructions for the tv or furnace making them very difficult to operate.

    Very comfortable, clean, and pleasant. Loved the neighborhood and felt safe. Conveniently located for all our planned activities. Only problem is parking space scarcity at times.

    Areas for improvement 1. Curb appeal - trim bushes, sweep dead leaves away, plant flowers in pots instead of using them as ash trays 2. Musty smell - every time we walked in, there was an extremely strong musty basement odor. We bought a can of air freshener but it didn’t help much. 3. Internet - the coverage was inconsistent, requiring disconnecting and reconnecting 4. Quiet hours - the guests who checked into the upstairs unit on Saturday did not abide by the quiet hours. 5. Cleaning fee - taking the trash out should be included in the cleaning service that we paid for6. Furniture- the couch is shabby and there is water damage on the ceiling near the window. The location is good. Overall, our stay was adequate but we won’t return. .

    This is a perfect location in the CWE and a clean apartment. Yet there are so many small things the owners could do to make it a nicer stay: a larger bed with sheets that fit, a couch that isn't ripped and mended with duck tape, tea and decaf coffee options (not just caf), creamer, instructions on premises for setting the thermostat & logging into WiFi, a fireplace that works, etc. Also, the space is so huge that a queen or king sized bed would make for a much nice stay and there's plenty of room for it.
