Villa Luce. New Spacious apartment 70 m from the sea, with sea view at Karlobag.

A beautiful, modern, comfortable place to stay and enjoy the Adriatic Sea. It is away from the noise and crowds of the busy tourist centres. Enjoy the sunsets every evening with a bottle of Croatian wine from your private balcony. 70 meters from the beach, so you can swim whenever you like. The hosts, Marija and Ivan are wonderful, always accessible for any questions you may have. We would not hesitate to return to this gorgeous place.

Very good position for visit Croatia (Plitvice lakes, Zara, Senj, Pag, Rab etc...), really beautiful and modern apartment (it's almost new) with everything you need for your vacation, very clean and exactly like photos show you. It's perfect if you want a relaxing holiday (there's no night-life there, at 11 p.m. it's all close and very quite: you have to go to Karlobag, 5 min by car, to spend a night in pubs and reastaurants). Owners are very kind and helpful, if you need everything they are very helpful. We had fantastic holidays! Just one thing to be perfect: free wi-fi would be really useful.

I don't know how to start to write a review of this fantastic apartment. from the minute we arrived, when Marija and her husband Ivan were waiting to welcome us, till the day we left, we were made to feel very much at home. Marija had even baked us a cake and left fruit for us. The Renić family are all truly lovely. As for the apartment itself, it was one of four that I believe are similarly furnished and equipped. It was modern, comfortable and spotless. There was plenty of space for storage and to move around. The views from the spacious balcony were terrific, both of the coast & Pag and of the Velebit mountains inland, especially at sunset. We sat there every night for a few glasses of wine and to relax. There is a baker's kiosk within a few minutes walk for bread in the mornings and also two restaurants. 1 km away there is also a small supermarket and restaurant combined. It is just five minutes drive into Karlobag if you are looking for a bit more variety. We combined Karlobag, local eating and self-cooked meals on the balcony and were very happy with the selection. For sun-worshippers, there is access to the sea just 70 metres from the apartment and another at the other end of the village, as well as a small beach at neighbouring Cesarica. Ribarica is perfectly placed for short drives to the ferries for the islands of Pag and Rab, as well as for the Velebit National Park to the north and the mountains behind Karlobag. We took lovely, if hot, walks in all those places. We were sad to leave and would recommend Villa Luce to anyone who wants to escape the wild tourist hot-spots for some calm and tranquillity.
