This was by far the best VRBO I've rented. It is perfectly decorated with an elegant, welcoming farmhouse feeling situated on a gorgeous piece of pastoral land. Very quiet, with the sounds of nature coming in the screened windows and doors. I was attending a painting workshop in Taos. It was a 15 minute drive to town. I found myself wanting to just hang out at the casita, lolling on the daybed in the kitchen, instead of going to the workshop! The owner, Elaine, was lovely, gracious, and so helpful. She even has a little wagon to put your luggage in so that you can roll it to the side of the house where you enter. This is the perfect place to experience the magic of Northern New Mexico. I'm really looking forward to staying here again.
Refreshing and peaceful. Good opportunity to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the unique landscape. Good bird watching too, for birding enthusiasts.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely & serene casita. Between our jaunts to the mountains & town, we relaxed, read & generally lounged around inside & out. A beautiful setting for those who seek real R & R.
Clean one bedroom w/ living/kitchen area attached to owner's home. Very nicely decorated and fully equipped. Impressive kitchen for those who might cook. Lots of room out back to walk your dog, etc. Quiet, country atmosphere is so pleasant. Owner was very easy going and helpful. It was no problem for us, but don't expect concrete sidewalks or bright lighting at night. Road getting to place can be muddy but passable during rainy times. Overall, a pleasant, country style, place to stay in Taos.
