ABOUT THE APARTMENT

A lovely 170m2 fully-air conditioned apartment comprising of one large main bedroom with a double bed and a small en-suite shower, 2 twin-bed rooms, a separate bathroom, a store room, a larger than usual combined dining/living/kitchen area and an inner courtyard.

The apartment's main door is accessed directly from the street, which means guests do not need to pass through a common area to access the apartment.

Please note that there is NO LIFT and that guests have to climb one flight of stairs - apartment is not suitable for mobility reduced guests.

The apartment has its own free WiFi, a smart TV, a DVD player, a washing machine, a microwave, air conditioners in each bedroom and in the combined area, a hairdryer, etc...

No smoking in the apartment or in the terrace (neighbours above).

ARRIVALS

Arrivals possible 24 hours a day - guests will be instructed how to retrieve the key to the apartment from a safe box.

WHAT IS PROVIDED

Hand and bathroom towels, beach towels and linen will be provided. Basic toiletries will be provided to help guests start their holiday. When basic toiletries run out, they are not replenished by the host.

HEATING AND COOLING

All air-conditioning units are AAA rated and very economical and environmentally friendly. Their usage is metered. Guests find credit already in the meter to make for a reasonably comfortable and at the same time environmentally-friendly stay. The host will not recharge the meter if credit runs out. Guests can insert euro coins to reactivate the air-conditioning.

LOCATION

The apartment is situated at a very short walking distance (one minute) from Marsaxlokk's waterfront and the main square.

Marsaxlokk is a very charming and picturesque fisherman's village, the last of its kind on the island, and is visited by many tourists both during the day and at night. It has many cafes and restaurants, some specializing in fish, two pharmacies, various grocery stores, butchers, a bakery, confectioneries, hairdressers, beauty salons, 2 ATMs, etc...

A bus stop, a grocery store, a butcher, a hairdresser, a children's play area, many restaurants, a renowned fish shop and the sea are just a couple of steps away from the apartment's main door.

There is a large street market every Sunday all along the Marsaxlokk promenade where one can buy not only fish, but also vegetables, toiletries, clothes, souvenirs...

    The owner Clare was very helpful allowing us to drop our groceries in early so our food wouldn't spoil. The apartment had everything we needed nice big bedrooms, air-conditioning throughout. A well equipped kitchen and laundry. A very comfortable apartment.

    The accommodation was fabulous and beautiful. It was close to the harbour and all the restaurants. There was parking across the street. Would highly recommend this home to anybody for a holiday.

    The check-im was easy and we were even given access to the cosy flat a few hours earlier. The host reacted quickly when contacted. The kitchen was well-equipped and the flat spacious. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much and can highly recommend the flat.There are lots of good fish restaurants available around the corner and beautiful beaches nearby. Parking our rental car near the flat was no problem, except for Sundays when the village is crowded because of the fish market.All in all highly recommendable.

    This unit is very large and airy, which was great for my group. The kitchen and living areas were comfortable, functional, and equipped with many essentials.The restrooms were less than optimal, but not terrible. The master restroom’s sink is tiny and in an awkward location. The shared restroom does not have a shower and allows the water to spill all over the floor if you attempt to stand to wash due to the lack of an enclosure. The master bedroom’s bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The location was close to the market, a grocery store, and many great places to eat. Parking was convenient. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

    This property exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly spacious and the aircon was amazing! The location is fantastic, only one street off main street on the waterfront, walking distance to restaurants, cafes, a great little beach for swimming for little ones, park and convenience stores. We wanted something more traditional so as to have character and this property delivered. It was spotless and the manager was so fantastic. We have a 2yr old and were concerned about the stairs, the manager had a baby gate, high chair and cot for us on arrival. We were so grateful! We also had the airline change our flight and arrived much earlier but when we contacted the manager they arranged for us to be able check in 4hrs early. Spectacular service.

    A lovely spacious property a short walk from the harbour and with a bus stop directly outside. All the facilities you require are catered for in the property. Only complaint was regarding the confusing rubbish and recycling instructions and the requirement to have to get up early to put it out before 7am
