Stayed Dec 31, 1969His was a great apartment. We considered upgrading to one of their nicer apartments but that would have been totally unnecessary. This unit is actually nicer than the pictures indicate (which is rarely the case). There are two private bedrooms; one with a full bed and the other with bunk beds. This was perfect for our family of 4. Both rooms have ample closet space and we even noticed there is a pack and play (collapsable crib) and a high chair if you happen to be traveling with an infant. The bathrooms were spotless and the kitchen was well equipped for any basic cooking you will want to do. . Most of the restaurants and shopping are a few towns away (15-20 minutes) in Vielha, but we did have dinner in Baqueira at Monty's (ask around) and it was awesome. As for skiing, it could not be more convenient. The unit comes with a ski locker so you don't have to drag your gear upstairs. From the guardesqui, you take an elevator up a few levels and exit right at the base of the gondola that leads up to the rest of the mountain/lifts. This is huge for families with little kids. In case it isn't obvious, I would highly recommend this place for families or a small group visiting Baqueira.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Comfort and Location !!! You will repeat year after year too... Fourth consecutive year that we chose to stay at the Val de Ruda apartments ...comparable price to hotels but with all the freedom and comfort of a fully fitted apartment. Walking distance (under cover) to the main lift, ski/boots room at the foot of the cable car are a huge benefit. The apartments are well fitted , modern and clean. Absolutely the best option if you want a relaxing family ski-holiday. There is no Wi-fi internet access ...which I think in this age would be a nice addition...and double-check before you book if you need a DVD player - some apartments say they have but they don´t.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very nice apartment and good location This is a nice place to stay for skiing. The apartment is near to remontes and is very confortable.
