Stayed Feb 8, 2025Our time in Brunswick was great and this Vrbo was OUTSTANDING!! The rental was very comfortable, clean, well appointed and very quiet. Also, it was bright and spacious, comfortable and cosy. The sunlight coming through the sliding glass doors in the morning was warming and lovely. We found the bed to be very comfortable as well as the living room furniture. One of the best features for us was how close we were to Brunswick's vibrant downtown. A very easy walk to get just about anything we needed. Also, an easy walk to the train station, Bodoin Collage and our favorite coffee place. (Dog Bar Jims). We are already making plans for our return visit in the Spring. Thanks to our hosts for keeping up such a nice place to stay. Fondly, Susan and John K

Stayed Dec 22, 2024Overall, this apartment is a good place to stay in Brunswick. It was the right size for 2 adults. It was cozy even in the dead of winter. It was clean, tidy, and had a fresh appearance. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom well-maintained and neat, with very good water pressure. It is a short 2-block walk to Maine Street shops or grocery store, and a 10 minute walk to campus. There are only 4 detractions we had, all MINOR, but which grew mildly irksome after two weeks - if you are only staying for a weekend or even a week, maybe they won't bother you. 1) The only bathroom is on the second floor up VERY steep stairs. If you, or guests, have any mobility issues, this is not the place for you. 2) The kitchen had the basics, but not much more. You can cook, but maybe better to just eat at one of the many good restaurants in easy walking distance. 3) The sofa looks comfy, but actually isn't all that good for more than an hour. No matter how we sat, we ended up with sore shoulders/necks after an evening on the sofa. 4) The walls separating this apartment from the other rental units in this large house are thin. You can hear the neighbors easily.Even with those issues, we still rate this apartment 5 stars.

Stayed Nov 27, 2024My husband and I were in town to visit my daughter for Thanksgiving. The property was perfect. It had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. It was clean, spacious and modern. It is a short walk to downtown and had plenty of room for our doggie! Spencer was responsive and was a wonderful host!

Stayed Aug 23, 2024We stayed here while settling our son into Bowdoin. It’s a very comfortable house, and you can’t beat the location. It’s within walking distance to almost everything. The house is exactly as listed and very clean. Yes, the stairs are steep, but I think this is a characteristic of homes in the area.

Stayed Aug 16, 2024Great location! A quick walk to Maine St and to the historical swing bridge and walking trail. Spacious living area! The sofa is super comfortable! Kitchen was very nice but could have had a couple more items like a larger cooking pot, a colander and pot holders! The entrance mat was a tripping hazard! It was curled up! A unique red refrigerator not very large but the handle kept falling off! The bedroom mattresses were very comfortable! A/C in the window was nice but they should have like a diverter, so the air doesn’t blow on your head! The door out to outside patio was stuck extremely hard to open. No railings to get down the stairs from the patio. Also no railings for the two steps from the kitchen down to living room. Overall we had a pleasant stay! Great for younger families.

Stayed Jul 23, 2023Overall- house was clean, updated and good location for Brunswick. It is a minimalistic house. Comfortable for our short stay. (Could have used a mirror and small dresser in The bedrooms.) And yes, (it’s been mentioned) but anyone staying should be aware that staircase is steep and narrow. It was fine for us, but it might just suprise people. Overall good for what we needed for our stay.

Stayed Jun 23, 2023The location was perfect.Although it was comfortable, I would not recomment it for anyone with bad knees. The staircase is very steep and the steps shallow, and the bathroom and bedrooms are all on the upper level.
