Uproot Family Farms Peaceful, Picturesque, Perfect

This was an exceedingly lovely stay. Very comfortable beds and clean rooms, and the hosts went above and beyond in supplying amenities. The hosts were notably gracious and quick to respond to any needs or concerns. This makes a very cute and restful rental or retreat for families and solo travelers alike, I would definitely recommend to others!

Beautiful location and family!

We needed a quiet, restful place to stay after spending long days at the Earl Scruggs Music Festival, and this was just right! Such a beautiful place, and very accommodating. Not to mention the ducks, which were charming and quite fun!We would definitely come back again.

This was our first time. The entire experience was great. The communication was quick and pleasant. The Check-In was simple. All you need for the stay was provided in a clean and friendly home. Attention grabbing views, WiFi included for indoor tech needs and 'DuckFi' outdoors for those friendly welcome waddles. The location was so central and easy for commutes to any destination. There are so many near-by sites that having a plan to expand your trip's events is recommended. Of course now our suburb family requests more of these. See y'all next time.

What a beautiful property! Our accommodations were perfect, just the right amount of space. Four adults, so we only utilized the king and queen bedrooms, but the third bedroom with all the large bunks looked great too! Well stocked kitchen for all our needs and a comfortable living space for relaxing. The outside is so pretty with the dock, and we were provided with food to feed the very friendly flock of ducks! Downtown Inman was close by and so cute, and we only had a 10 minute drive to our friends’ house on Lake Bowen. Cheryl and Jim, it was so nice to meet you and I have a feeling we will be back!

Such a rare beautiful gem of a property. Well equipped apartment offered a peaceful retreat for anyone looking to get away from busy city life and enjoy ducks and a pond. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay. Mom/daughter soccer weekend for the books! Girls loved feeding the ducks and fishing between games.Quiet, clean and beautiful property. Wish we had more time to enjoy the property Hope to be back next year!

Nice and relaxing

We went for a wedding, my husband and his friends stayed. They fished, hung out with ducks and played games. They had a very nice time and were very impressed with the accommodations.

We just loved Cheryl and Jeff's amazing location in the country along with a very spacious, 3-BR floor to ourselves. The home has everything you can need, with a gorgeous hill backyard overlooking a gorgeous duck pond you can walk around and through trails - very cool if you want to go for a nice, peaceful walk.Basically, you're 15 - 20 minutes from all good places: Spartanburg, Greer, Greenville, and I recommend you also check out Landrum and Tryon, each only about 15 minutes away and well worth visiting.Cheryl and Jeff are amazing, hospitable hosts. Thank you for everything!!

I stayed with my mom and sister and we all agreed that this stay was perfect! The setting here is absolutely gorgeous and the property was clean, comfortable, and made us feel welcome. There were lots of little touches that set this property apart and I’d definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Awesome place

My family and I loved staying here over a long 4th of July holiday. We were close to my husband's grandparents, but needed the space to come back and put our two young children (18 month & 3 years old) to bed in their own quiet space at the end of the day. My older son enjoyed waking up each morning to go out and feed the duckies breakfast with his little brother toddling behind duc duc duc duc. My husband and I enjoyed sitting around the fireplace (we didn't use it) to watch the fireworks going off in every direction, and the stunning view of the night sky. 100/10!Excellent host. Jeff and Cheryl went above and beyond creating a beautiful space for families, and even offered to add a baby gate at the top of the stairs, a high chair in the kitchen and a pack'n'play for us so we didn't have to travel with such bulky things. We can't wait for another chance to stay here!
