Beautiful property, waterfall, nice house. The water is undrinkable and not so pleasant to shower. We were very surprised that there was another occupied unit downstairs, so read the description and reviews carefully (we did not).

The property manager was a very polite and helpful individual. It's a beautiful place if your looking for serenity and peacefulness. It has a waterfall and stream located on the property which can be viewed easily from the back porch. There's another area located within walking distance which will lead you to more waterfalls. Even though the cabin has a top and bottom section that can be rented at the same time, I found it to be enjoyable. We stayed in the top section which has 3 bedrooms and two baths with a spacious kitchen and living room with a beautiful fireplace. A large family could rent the top and bottom section and have an excellent time together with plenty of room and privacy. If there was anthing I would recommend to the property manager, it would be to sweep the floors a little better, clean the oven, refrigerator better and to invest in a water conditioner due to it having iron water. Overall it's a very nice place, and you couldn't find a better property manager to assist you in anyway.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a very quiet and beautiful location. We had everything we needed. The only concern was that I booked this through VRBO and thought we were renting the whole cabin. I found out a few weeks before our stay that it is actually an apartment and that we were renting the upper level. Fortunately, no one was renting the lower level while we were there. The backyard is shared if there are other renters. This is not mentioned in the property description. That would haver made a big difference.

The house is much larger than I thought from the photos. It's very remote, which is what I wanted. The owner was so easy to work with. They are excellent at communication. All around, it was a very nice stay. They Bad. The street could have been better marked. It's on a gravel road. I'm guessing it's a private road that it very easy to overlook. The road looks more like an off road trail (witch I loved!) than a road. There was no soap for the shower. Maybe that's normal for a VRBO, I don't know.

The signage needs to be larger. We arrived in the evening and it was difficult to get to the cabin. Once we arrive, I was very disappointed at the lack of cleanliness of the cabin. There were feces in the toilet, coffee in the coffee maker, crumbs on the stove, and dust, dirt, spider webs, and trash everywhere (including beside the garbage can and under the beds). The sofas were musty and the throws were knotted and smelly. The beds were hard and musty. The representative also texted me to tell me to turn off the Christmas tree. During my rental, I expected to be able to use the Christmas tree to my heart's delight. There were also no instructions as to how to access local and cable t.v. We spent too much time fiddling with the television. We did not know how to access the path to see the waterfall unfortunately. This is a beautiful cabin in a very nice area, it was very disappointing that it is so uncared for. The shrine to the owner suggested that it is well-loved, but I guess Love does not equal Care. The cabin itself met all our needs, spacious with ample cooking supplies... having the grill was such a perk! It rained all weekend so we didn't have a chance to hike to the waterfall or take use of the fire pit but everything was clearly marked and the cabin was just as described!! The only downside was some of the beds are just a thin cushion as if maybe from a futon, a mattress topper or egg crate foam could go a long way for a tad extra sleeping comfort for those low bunks. Beyond that, everything about our stay here was wonderful and hard to leave behind!
