A Perfect Historic Gem-Better Than a Hotel! We absolutely loved this stay! As first time Vrbo users, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We love historic homes, and this one was beautifully preserved and thoughtfully hosted. What we loved:-Impeccable Cleanliness: The space was spotless upon arrival.-Layout & Decor: The floor plan is spacious and open, accented by tasteful decor, lovely houseplants, and plenty of natural light.-Amenities: It felt like home. It had all the appliances we needed, plus the standard suite amenities you’d expect from a high-end hotel.-Comfort: The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water.-Location: Situated in a safe, charming historic district at a very reasonable price point.A few friendly suggestions:-Climate Control: The house was a bit stuffy when we arrived (likely due to the recent heatwave), and we weren't entirely sure how to adjust the HVAC or if it was shared. Since temperatures fluctuate this time of year, a quick note in the welcome guide about the HVAC setup would be very helpful-Signage: We completely understand the need for instructions throughout the house. Since the space is so elegant, you might consider upgrading the paper notes to formal, framed signs (like the one in the bathroom). Specifically, a pro-tip sign for the historic windows would be great to ensure the original glass stays safe.We will definitely stay here again; wonderful accommodations!

Some of the books and decor things were really dusty, but otherwise it was pretty clean. It’s a small place good for two people. Though I wish the bedroom was separated- there is no door to the bedroom and there is also a way to look int the living room from the bedroom so not much in the way of privacy if you want it. Cute area though with a lot of nightlife within walking distance. Good for a short stay.

The place was great for two. My wife enjoyed the beautiful plants, and outdoor seating was nice but too cold to use. Only issue we had was with heat, but the property manager responded immediately, and all was taken care of. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great. We walked to dinner at Jay's Seafood which was very good, but there is lots more in walking distance. Enjoy your time in the historic Oregon District!

This was a perfect place to stay for our trip to see my daughter graduate from University of Dayton, I'm my opinion a lot better than the near by hotels, was easy to go to the Oregon district for meals and local parks were a good place to hang out between events.

This was a fantastic stay. We were in town for a conference at the Dayton Convention Center - we were able to walk every day to save on parking (about a 10 minute walk). The house is clean and in a safe and quiet area. It is also convenient to the highway to get to Fairborn or Beavercreek where there's every restaurant imaginable. We would definitely stay here again if/when we are back in town.

If you need an affordable trip with tons of things to do, this is a great place to stay. Tons of great restaurants and activities all in walking distances. Clean and comfy for a night in too. Only con we experienced is an extremely soft mattress but that’s subjective and doesn’t affect ta perfect 10/10 rating.

Our goal was to find a place within walking distance of 5th Street for 2024 Hauntfest in the Oregon District and this was PERFECT. The check in process was simple and the property was exactly as described. I was somewhat nervous about the on street parking situation but my fears were unfounded- we had a spot right in front of the house the whole time. Will definitely re-book next year!

Only 20 -25 minutes to Huber Heights for the concert. The bed is on the firmer side, but very comfortable. Van Buren is a close, cute little bar with a lot of Gin. Nice for a nightcap.
