Right on the harbour friendly area, amazing sunsets, interesting short walks around the harbour are. Close to town. In easy travelling distance to many other towns. We walked alpaca nearby.

Perfect base for a short or longer-term escape to the Lothian coast. Location could not be better and the property is very clean and comfortable. The stairs might be a problem for anyone with mobility issues, but otherwise just right for 2 -4 people.

Lovely being near to harbour. Aparrment was well equipped with wverything you need. Great area to explore and to get into Edinburgh by train.

This is our second stay here and hopefully not our last! Tried to book it last year but dates didn’t fit. It’s an ideal situation by the harbour and so quiet and peaceful. Everything we could have wanted was provided and place was spotlessly clean. Maybe not suited for anyone with mobility issues due to the stairs but I use a stick and managed fine. Don’t miss the wonderful sunsets over the harbour or the seafood trucks a few metres away! Thanks Morag for another lovely break away

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again. Great location within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the seashore. Beautiful walks along the shore in each direction, and it was fun to be so close to the harbor. There are two levels of stairs - one to get up to the home and another level of stairs to the bedrooms - so not the place for those with mobility concerns.

The apartment was an absolute dream! I had a truly wonderful stay from start to finish. The space itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt so cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept almost better than at home. The location was nice with an easy access to beautiful coastal walks. I would highly recommend this apartment!

We loved our week long stay at Morag's home. The pictures of the home are exactly how it looks. The home is a short walk to the bus stop and train station which we used frequently to get to Edinburgh or the other surrounding towns. While there the European Stone Stacking Competition was taking place which was an added bonus. There was a coffee truck and 2 seafood trucks right outside the front door which we visited frequently. In the evenings we could watch the sunset over the sea while listening to the Kittewakes get ready for bed. Everyone in the town of Dunbar is just lovely and helpful. We would stay again!

A well appointed property on Dunbar Harbour with free parking close by.

Nice property, well positioned overlooking the Harbour.Steep stairs, so not for those less mobile.Dunbar has plenty of places to eat & drink.Also a good base for local tourist spots.This year we took a day trip by train to Berwick-upon-Tweed. Well worth a visit.

Our home away from home was perfect for us. Our host kept us informed throughout our stay. Its location was perfect with a beautiful harbor and several great restaurants within easy walking distance. If stairs are a problem gor guest they should be aware there are several. I highly recommend this location.

Right on the harbour side with main street, leisure centre and station ( main line to Edinburgh) all in walking distance. Delightful walk along seafront and plentiful bird life to observe. Comfortable, warm accommodation and responsive host who dealt with minor problem instantly. We would be happy to return.

Quiet location. Great for walking.

The flat suited our needs and we had an enjoyable week needing only to use the flat predominantly in the evenings and of course staying at night. The negatives for us were that we were staying from 22nd to 30th December yet there was absolutely no Christmas decorations at the property which was an absolute shame. the flat would have been a much cheerier place with even just a tree and lights! We found the sitting/living area a little bare - it could do with a rug on the floor. Additionally the property is behind the lovely cottage that you show on the picture of the property which was a little deceptive. We only make these comments so that the owner can perhaps take them on board for the future and stress that taken as a whole the flat was clean and warm it being December.

We really enjoyed the stay and visiting so many East Lothian places.

Good points: location, good standard furnishings etc., near local pub! Not so good: long flight of stairs from bedrooms to bathroom, only brief details of articles provided eg hair dryer, some plugs difficult to use as blocked by carpet Disappointed no views of harbour from apartment

We enjoyed the proximity of the harbour to the town and to sea views and we saw the Northern lights too. A real joy

The apartment was exactly as described. It felt like home from the first moment we arrived. The location is incredible, right on the harbour and within a short walk to the town and shops. Morag is an excellent host who helped our trip to go very smoothly. We can’t wait to come back ! Jackie and Todd.

Had an amazing time, absolutely loved being right on the harbour. Apartment was so homely, had everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable. We would love to visit again.
