It is on East Lothian's Golf Coast and has two courses - Winterfield and Dunbar which is an Open Championship qualifying course. The Coast to Coast Surf School is situated at Belhaven Beach on the outskirts of the town and offers surf coaching and paddle board sessions. Foxlake Adventures is a 5 minute drive away and is one of the biggest wakeboarding centres in the UK as well as offering rope courses and a zip wire. For the younger members of the family East Links Family Park continues to please with its selection of animals (farm and more exotic), railway and other attractions.brDunbar is only 20 minutes by train to the centre of Edinburgh - one of Europe's top destination cities with many annual events such as the Edinburgh Festival and the Military Tattoo.
