Entertainment is seamlessly modern with a Samsung 4k Smart television, offering complimentary access to Youtube TV, Netflix, Amazon, and Prime Video. This one queen bedroom suite is designed for rest, offering sound machines, surrounded by cypress shiplap walls and centuries-old heart pine—much of it dating back to the early 1600’s. The bathrooms are masterful blends of history and luxury, tiled with original repurposed Vermont slate dating to 1851, when the house was built by shipwrights. Salvaged standing-seam tin from the original front porch roof forms a striking backsplash behind the hand-hammered, nickel-plated vessel sink. A period-inspired water closet sourced from Kent, England complete the Old World aesthetic. Outdoors, guests can embrace the Charleston tradition: relaxing on the porch and enjoying the coastal breeze. Rocking chairs overlook Cannon Street, while a private rear porch and patio offer additional space to unwind, complete with a lounge sofa and Acorn barbecue grill. Operating Permit: OP2026-07476

This suite has access to complimentary parking for one vehicle, the large front porch with exclusive, dedicated seating, a private rear porch, and patio with Green Egg charcoal grill with charcoal. Other Things to Note:

We are three blocks from King Street, right in the middle of all Charlestonian activity. Incredible restaurants such as Southbound, Verns, 167 Raw, Malagon, Indaco, and Azur. Great places to have drinks are even closer at places like Felix, Stars, Babas, and Prohibition. There are also great niche restaurants closer than King Street, such as coastal Italian at Allora or creative Indian at Rivayat. If you want the full Charleston experience, a walking tour or carriage tour is a must. If you have sea legs and are aiming for total immersion into history, the steamboat runs to Ft. Sumter daily and you can land your two feet exactly where the Civil War started.

The apartment is at an ideal location. Easy walk to King Street and there are nice restaurants nearby. The living room and kitchen are spacious with exquisite decorations. Sipping coffee and reading a book on the second floor patio was a real treatment. Designated parking space crossing the street is a plus. The hosts couldn't be nicer. Elizabeth greeted us in person and gave us a run-through of the apartment. We won't hesitate to stay here again for our return trip to Charleston.

Absolutely beautiful and well kept home with the Charleston feel and convenient to everything! The pictures are what you see but don't give this place justice for the beauty and charm of the overall intire property. The hosts/family were super helpful, friendly and professional. They left a book inside with great details on favorite places for shops, food, ect. if you have never been which was really helpful. Definitely a place we would love to revisit and explore more of The Holy City. Thank you Charlestonian for a great 6th wedding anniversary!!
