Top apartment #3 of the Castle ~ Sunsets & views high above Lake Travis!

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this beautifully Italian-styled property overlooking Lake Travis. The view is absolutely magnificent and became one of the highlights of our trip. The place was very clean, comfortable, and had a warm, home-like atmosphere. It was well equipped with a kitchen, cozy sofa, TV, reliable Wi-Fi, and a very comfortable king-size bed. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay was provided. One of the best parts was the private balcony. From there, we enjoyed a panoramic view of the valley and the lake while feeling the cool breeze. The scenery was peaceful and unforgettable. Overall, this property offered both comfort and stunning natural beauty. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway near Austin and would gladly stay here again

Dream come true! I've always loved this exceptional property perched high above Lake Travis, and all that it represents. We enjoyed dinner, a gorgeous sunset, and New Year fireworks across the horizon from our private balcony.

The property is beautiful yet comfortable and well appointed. The view is stunning. The sunset over Lake Travis is just gorgeous. The host is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to staying again sometime!

Yes. All was great, except no shampoo or conditioner. Rugs in bathroom were slippery. Needed no stick backing. Blinds in bedroom didn’t close.

we had a great time this place is awesome and the host is wonderful. we enjoyed the bottle of wine while watching the amazing sunset. 3 min or less drive to the Oasis Restaurant. may do it again sometime.

The Castle was everything I wanted and more. I had a wonderful time. I had planned on seeing the sights in the area, but found I could see all I wanted from my balcony.

It was perfect. Unbelievable view of the lake and just the right size for a couples get away. Great location right next to the famous Oasis and just a stones throw from Steiners Ranch. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful property inside and out. Great location that makes it convenient for anything you need and especially being close to The Oasis. Can't forget about the gorgeous view you get from the balcony. High recommendation to anyone visiting Austin.

What a wonderful property! The view alone is worth it. Very quiet and comfortable stay. Check in and check out was a breeze. The welcome basket is awesome as well as coffee provided. You can tell that the property is well attended and that you the guest are not an after thought. I can definitely recommend this stay- you will not be disappointed!

This apartment is exactly as described. Private and peaceful setting. The views are breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable with a lot of bedding and pillow. options. Communication with Elise was great. Kitchen was stocked well for cooking. Our AC stop working but they fixed it almost immediately! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I recently stayed at Villa del Sol for a Formula 1 race weekend. When arrived on site we were welcomed by Beau, the owner, designer, and builder of what can only be described as a modern day castle. He walked us up and gave us a tour of the property with the most breath taking lake and cityscape views.Villa del Sol is also pet friendly so we brought the pups as well! They provide a small grassy area with plenty of nearby paths and parks for the dogs. Elise (Beau’s niece) who runs the property was also in contact with us regularly making sure we had everything we needed, including a welcoming bottle of champagne and all sorts of treats. The property is right on Lake Travis and is only 25 minutes from downtown Austin, we loved it so much we even stayed an extra day, which they were very accommodating. Needless to say we didn’t want to leave and would highly recommend staying here! We will certainly be back! Thank you again for a wonderful unforgettable vacation and stay!

My wife and I booked for three nights and loved it. Excellent views, unique decor, perfect for a couple celebrating 24 years.

The home was perfect for a couple’s getaway. Very romantic sunsets and everything we needed to stay in or go out as mush as we liked.
